I was allowed to spend 4 very nice years as a permanent camper on the campsite until it was sold by the Klein family in early summer. The new operators didn't think it was necessary to introduce themselves properly to the permanent campers, and many campers had their contracts terminated at the... end of 2024.
In summer 24 it was chaos to the power of ten, to put it mildly, the sanitary facilities were only rarely swept and then quite sparsely...the lady in the complaints department had no plan at all and only talked about butterflies and love. The groundsman Tobi was kept stupid and knew nothing about terminations and evictions ... and apart from that the new owners came for one day a week when there were hardly any campers on site. In the meantime, more than 30 permanent campers have moved away and looked elsewhere. To be fair, it has to be said that new pitches have been promised in the last corner of the campsite... The place is now closed due to alleged reconstruction work since Oct.24 until probably March /Apr. 25. We were here for our two-week vacation with our dog and are thrilled: the place, the nature and the operator couple, who are very helpful, including... the nice young man who is extremely hardworking.
Sanitary building with two entrances (not barrier-free because of stairs) is always clean, and the closing times for cleaning are good (12 - 14 o'clock) You know it and can settle in.
Showers are spacious and good.
There is a bread roll service and at the weekend you can buy cakes baked by the owner.
The surrounding area is fantastic: many hiking trails directly from the campsite, and shopping facilities are about 1.5 km away (bakery, butcher).
All in all highly recommended. Price / performance was absolutely right for us and we would always come back.

Dog friendlyThis site is located just outside Claustal-Zellerfeld in a wooded area. Beautiful hikes and bike tours are possible from here. The site has very nice pitches, some with a view of a reservoir of the Oberharzer Wasserregal. Very clean sanitary building with a recreation room and a washing-up area. Fresh... bread rolls are available at the registration desk and home-baked cakes at the weekend (very tasty). You can also get hot pizza there. The site is slightly terraced and beautifully integrated into the natural surroundings. We are often there and always feel very comfortable. In Claustal Zellerfeld (easily accessible by bike or on foot) you can find everything you need. There are also the first sights that want to be explored.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

If you are looking for relaxation, this is the place for you.

Many beautiful hiking trails directly from the site, bathing lakes, a nearby children's playground (no noise) and a small riding... stables offer many opportunities for parents. That's all a campsite needs.Camping in the Harz MountainsWe booked the campsite spontaneously and were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and location. Cleanliness was also very important. The campsite is located next to a pond and is very quiet. Children have the opportunity to play on the site and in bad weather there is a recreation room with a bookshelf... and table tennis table. There is a large playground in the immediate vicinity with lots of play equipment and a corner for "gem hunting". There was also a pony farm. Sanitary facilities very clean and adequate. Showers a little awkward with tokens. Price performance not quite in line with reality in our experience. Electricity 65 cents, showers extra cost. We paid 27.44 euros for one night without showers. We were allocated a pitch with a view of the lake which turned out to be just a biotope (pond).
