Ask for a place at the sanitary building when you arrive, they are also available and you won't regret it. It was well received, as we saw. There are comfortable pitches for caravans on a well-kept area with all the necessary connections. There are plenty of standard sanitary facilities....
Convenient location for exploring the upper Danube valley and western Lake Constance. You can reach Lake Überlingen within half an hour by car, but not by bike ...

We did not notice any other disadvantages.Small and quietIt is (only) a sloping gravel path with approx. 50 pitches. The main building (registration, sanitary facilities, snack bar) is right next to the outdoor pool.
We had 2 weeks of great bathing weather and the place was very quiet despite good occupancy. There was also no noise pollution at all from the surrounding area.

A natural outdoor pool is included. There is a swimmers' and non-swimmers' area, as well as a water slide in a separate area. There are plenty of sunbathing areas, including shady ones. There is play equipment for kids adjacent to the sunbathing... area, as well as a small water play area.
Fresh bread rolls are available to order in the morning. There is a kiosk serving typical swimming pool food... French fries, nuggets, currywurst, schnitzel. Really good for a snack between meals. It is worth mentioning that there is ice cream from a nearby farm.
There is a playground opposite the wash house in addition to the play area in the natural outdoor pool.
Now to the sanitary facilities: the only, but decisive minus point in our assessment.
Probably due to the fact that the site, including the tent meadow, was packed over the long national holiday weekend, but staff should be planned in. The toilets were unfortunately not clean, soap was empty, toilet paper not replenished, floors dirty (was partially repaired after notification by us).
Showers 🚿:
MEN: 4 showers, 4 washbasins
LADIES: 5 showers, 6 washbasins, one of which was broken.
Shower head firmly mounted on the wall, as in some swimming pools, could be descaled again, as only 4 water jets come out of some shower head nozzles. A hand shower would be very desirable, especially in the ladies' showers. Slider available, but unfortunately some campers forgot their manners at home this weekend. The floors and washbasins looked accordingly. But that's not the operators' fault.
All in all, a great campsite with room for improvement, especially in the sanitary area or at least send staff to the areas more often at busy times.

We (2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 14) stayed at the campsite for 8 days. The site has around 60 pitches, including 9 motorhome pitches and a large tent meadow. The sanitary facilities are up to date and were always clean. We particularly... liked the natural outdoor pool, which is open from 8 am to 8 pm. There is a beach volleyball court and children's playground on the lawn by the outdoor pool. The owner family's farm is about 350 meters from the campsite, but we didn't visit it. Children can help feed the animals on the farm. In the front area, the pitches are divided into a gravel and a grass area, the rear pitches are completely on grass. We had a spacious grass pitch. The planted trees have not yet reached their optimum height and therefore only provide limited shade. There is a bistro/kiosk on the site and you can order bread rolls the evening before. Shopping is easy in Meßkirch, about 8 km away. A big plus point for us was the location, for the many excursion destinations and possible activities in the area.

Everything was very clean and was disinfected several times, which we found great, especially now during the Corona period. We also liked the farm very much, we will come back again with our niece and nephew.

The sanitary facilities are attractive and very clean. The natural swimming... pool is a real eye-catcher. Unfortunately, it was already too cold to try it out. There is a nice big playground, so we will certainly come back with our granddaughter. The location and the natural pool were the main reasons for booking. We received a very friendly welcome at reception. Our pitch (comfort) was generously sized and equipped with water, waste water and electricity.... At breakfast we already had an overwhelming view of the Swiss Alps. The natural swimming pool was perfect for cooling off in the summer temperatures. The sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained despite full occupancy! The Berteiber were always friendly and helpful (high chair / 17er nut)!
