"Vacation with caravan and dog - We stayed at this campsite for a short break and went on excursions from here to Erfurt city center, the Thuringian Forest and Weimar.

"Over the weekend to the Christmas market - A very nice, tidy and straight pitch, clean paths, pitches laid out with honeycomb stones ensures a safe stand, showers and WLAN included. Everything top!

"Very nice campsite - The campsite is brand new and modern. The reception, the sanitary facilities and the pitches. The pitches are a pleasant size and neatly laid out. Four and disposal are easily accessible and everything is in one place. There is a bus stop to the city center right outside the door. The lady at reception is very nice, we would love to come back.

"SUPER place close to the city center - an absolute recommendation! - From arrival to check-out super friendly service and staff. The site is very well maintained and well laid out. We had one of the two rental bathrooms, so no detailed assessment of the sanitary building, only that it is very modern and very attractively designed. We had booked a large pitch and on arrival we were given 2 spacious pitches, absolutely fantastic - thanks again for that! The site is very well drained, we also had 'bad weather' with lots of rain and storms during our 10-day stay, but that wasn't a problem at all. The paths are discreetly lit, there are no high lanterns that make the site unnecessarily bright. It was very quiet at night, only sometimes interrupted by the occasional train whistle and once by unnecessarily inconsiderate neighbors (for which the site operator cannot be held responsible). The bread roll service is good, the rolls are bakery rolls, pre-order the day before or Friday for the weekend, there are no rolls on Mondays, clear assortment. Cycling into town is no problem at all, there are plenty of bike racks everywhere. If you like, you can also buy a day ticket for public transport and then travel into the city from the stop directly on the square and hop on/hop off with the numerous streetcars available. We also made excursions to the surrounding area by car (Weimar, Eisenach with the Wartburg, Kyffhäuser monument, Thuringian Forest, Buchenwald memorial, etc.), in Bad Sulza there is the Toskana-Therme. Restaurant recommendations: Espitas (Mexican, all you can eat buffet at the weekend), Steakhouse Louisiana. For us it was an all-round successful vacation, compliments to Mrs. List for the very well thought-out layout of the place and the great service as well as the nice conversations.

Our well-maintained, family-run campsite offers spacious, parceled pitches …for motorhomes, caravans, and tents, as well as cozy rental camping cabins for up to four people. Modern sanitary facilities, an accessible bathroom, rental bathrooms, a dog shower, and cooking and dishwashing areas ensure maximum comfort. A campsite shop with a bread service, free Wi-Fi throughout the site, and waste disposal facilities complete our offer. Thanks to our ideal location, a bus stop with direct connections to the city center is just a few steps away. A shopping center with a pharmacy, supermarket, and various shops is also within walking distance. Discover Erfurt and beyond Erfurt boasts the largest medieval old town in Germany. Highlights such as the world-famous Krämerbrücke, the impressive Erfurt Cathedral, the Old Synagogue, and the Petersberg Fortress invite you to explore. The surrounding area also has much to offer: The Thuringian Forest, Weimar with the German National Theater and Bauhaus Museum, or the impressive Thuringian Castle Region with the Drei Gleichen castles are all easily accessible. Culture enthusiasts can visit Friedenstein Castle in Gotha or the baroque Molsdorf Castle.
