very nice pitch
a very nice little pitch, and a very very nice operator who is allowed to run the pitch again until the end of the year. I hope that she gets the permission again next year, it is very nice there and also quite quiet and cozy, there is also everything you need, there is a bakery in town and also opportunities to go out to eat, and also nice places to stop for wine, I can especially recommend PaulsFutbar.

The proximity to the town, the cycle path and the many hiking opportunities.

The somewhat noisy Regiobahn and the sports field, when loud music played late into the evening after the soccer match.
Very well-kept campsite
We have hardly ever had a campsite that is as well maintained as this one. Mrs. Fuhrmann gave us a very friendly welcome and showed us our pitch, which was right on the Ahr. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean. 1 Euro is enough for a shower. A lot of emphasis was placed on Corona hygiene rules, which was positive for us, because we had already experienced it differently!
We will definitely be back.

pleasant small space
Nice small and well-kept site. We also felt quite comfortable there. There is really nothing to complain about in terms of space and sanitary facilities.
The facilities, such as WLAN, could perhaps be improved.
Only the proximity to the Regio Bahn is annoying.
All in all: gladly again :-)

The track is annoying at the beginning.
Those who spend their vacation here have found it good.
This is not the first time we have been to this small but lovely campsite and certainly not the last! The nice fellow campers and the boss Anette always make you feel that it is worthwhile to be a repeat offender and that it is good to leave a little everyday life behind you. the hiking trails and the excellent Ahr wine support this. Always happy to return!!!

very central in the village, directly on the water, next to the Dagernova Vinothek 400m walk to the village (bakery etc.), directly on the cycle path through the Ahr valley

Noise from the Ahrtalbahn
Small but nice....sauber
It was supposed to be a weekend on the Ahr, but our destination was actually another campsite. As this one was fully booked, we called Ms. Fuhrmann and reserved two pitches for us and our friends. As soon as we arrived on Friday, the first thing we noticed was the extremely clean and well-kept impression... of the entire site. The pitches are not parceled out, but we thought they were generously sized and had a stone and gravel bed for the area in front of the camper van. Aligning the pitches was quickly done, as it is a nice flat area. To access the sanitary facilities, you have to cross the quiet residential street into the site operator's house. There is a code lock for access. The facilities were extremely clean at all times. Showers cost 1 EUR. We did not measure the duration, but it was more than sufficient. As the site is located directly on the Ahr and not far from the red wine hiking trail and other hiking opportunities, it is an excellent base from which to explore the area. Bread rolls for breakfast are available from the bakery in Dernau (5 minutes' walk). There are also various places to stop for refreshments. We highly recommend "Im Burggarten", a rustic wine tavern. The relatively frequent Ahr Valley Railway is a little annoying, as the campsite is only separated from the railroad line by the Ahr. When the first "express" rushes past at around half past five in the morning, it can be a bit difficult to sleep in... But we will probably come back despite the train ;-)

Beautifully situated on the Ahr. Very beautiful hiking and cycling trails. Wine sales in the winegrowers' cooperative 200m away.

Small family-run campsite
This beautiful campsite is surrounded by vineyards on the banks of the Ahr. The campsite is family-run. Catering is available in the village (approx. 500m away.) The Ahr cycle path runs right past the campsite. The campsite is manageable with its 30 pitches and is an insider tip for camping enthusiasts.

A small but fine campsite on the Ahr
A small but nice CP located opposite the center of Dernau (max. 5 minutes walk to the center) The CP is open from 1.04. to 31.10. The CP itself is a very well-kept lawn surrounded by many trees. The pitch size is sufficient to feel comfortable here. Carpeting is not permitted. Some pitches are located... directly on the Ahr. Please note that the railroad line and the main through road run directly opposite the Ahr, which naturally causes a certain amount of noise. However, it didn't bother us so much. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and clean and are located in the immediate vicinity of the pitches. The operator is helpful and very, very friendly. In my opinion, booking is essential here because the site itself cannot accommodate many caravans, tents and motorhomes. Hikes can be undertaken directly from the campsite, which lies at the foot of the Krausberg. Krausberg, red wine hiking trail, not forgetting the many winegrowers in the wine village of Dernau. There is a bicycle that is also suitable for non-sporty riders. In Dernau there are several restaurants and wine taverns, an upscale snack bar, a grocery store and a bakery, all of which are located in the center. The train station is a 10-15 minute walk away. We paid €20.00 for our overnight stay in May 2017, 2 people with dog, small caravan and car.
