"The homepage promises more - Overall, I have to agree with many of the previous speakers' comments. Overall, it seems a bit unstructured (everywhere is patched up and saddled). It starts with the playground for the little ones, which is sufficient and intact but looks very loveless, as some of the play equipment is colorful and straightforward (like playgrounds used to be) and some is made with natural play equipment (like an adventure playground - wood as it grew). Also, in my opinion, it is not shielded enough from the campsite road / driveway where all campers have to pass. The youth room, which has two old pieces of play equipment (half-broken table tennis table, table football for a fee), is a complete disaster. It is also painted very dark and is used in winter (now spring) as a storage room (e.g. for plants). The temperature in the swimming pool: YES it is rather cold (& NO dear campsite this has not only been the case since the Ukraine conflict. I have acquaintances who were here before Corona .... were with you and it was like that then too). Despite everything, I have to stand by the campsite here who expects thermal bath water should rather go to a place without a bath and look for the nearest thermal bath & who has small children with him should pay attention to a children's pool on the site. In my opinion, the pool is completely ok both in size and temperature. The water has indoor pool temperature and is also completely ok in size. My conclusion: If the campsite now invests in the children's and youth facilities and does not neglect the other things (functional camping butlers), it will also do justice to its homepage (which is much more attractive) and the rather high price level.

"Good campsite - We only visited the campsite for one night when we were passing through. The campsite made a very well-kept impression. The description of how to use the check-in machine could be better and the price difference between the basic parking lot and the campsite could be greater.

"nice place, not just for one night - We stayed at the site in August while passing through. Very friendly staff, the facilities are good (swimming pool, store, restaurant etc.).

"Unfortunately very bad - We wanted to celebrate New Year's Eve at the Gugel in December. We left directly one day later. The swimming pool water is so cold that the children couldn't stay in the water for 5 minutes. An imposition. That's why we were the only ones there. The paths and the pitch were a big lump of mud. But that's not a reason for me to leave. The countless neglected permanent campsites look much worse. In some cases, nothing has been done for years. In general, the location (industrial area) is not very nice. You can clearly hear the highway. There was virtually nothing on offer for our children. I would only recommend the place for transit. But even for this it is too expensive. The reception is very friendly and we only had to pay for one night. I suspect that people are used to it there by now. The website, on the other hand, looks very good. If they put the same energy into the place it would be great.

"(Because of the energy crisis) unfortunately overrated? - Actually a very nice campsite. We went there because of the many positive reviews. However, the swimming pool, which was far too cold, and the extra meters had a "bad taste", so we won't be coming back. Unfortunately, you can see the cost-cutting measures in many places. Certainly great in summer, but not recommended for fall weather and winter. Many corners are very well maintained with great plants etc. - Others are very outdated.
