"Great facility - Booked from 09.12 to 13.12. Arrival was delayed from our side. No problem as we were able to let them know by phone and still enjoy everything. The facility 2ar in top condition. Enjoyed the time and could really relax. The bread roll service was great. We are already looking forward to next year. Top team and stay the way you are. Lg

"Very well managed camping and bungalow park - I found the site in Wehlinger Heide purely by chance on the Internet and then visited it by appointment. I really liked the variety of offers, vacation, long-term or permanent pitches in a quiet and relaxing area, close to the Haard nature reserve, the Wesel/Datteln canal and surrounded by flowering meadows and fields. I looked for a free pitch and immediately booked a long-term pitch with sanitary facilities and storage room on the plot from 26.5. to 21.7.24 at a reasonable price. After almost 4 weeks I am still delighted. Even the manager is on hand to help with small problems and is always very friendly. The friendliness and competence can also be found among all employees. I live in Essen in a detached house on 1400 square meters in Siepental. Nevertheless, I feel very comfortable on the 100 to 120 square meter pitch, no annoying telephone ringing, no street noise, absolute peace and quiet, plus the daily bread roll service, bicycle tours to the reservoir in Haltern, through the Haard, along the canal, etc. ensure a stress-free stay. Delicious food in the restaurant, also to take away, peace and relaxation in the 90 degree sauna for 10 euros with no time limit, undisturbed walks with the dog through the woods and meadows are just some of the possibilities on offer here. The price/performance ratio is 100% right here. I have already booked a long-term pitch with sanitary facilities for 10 weeks in 2025. Thanks to the whole team for their friendliness, helpfulness and competence.

"Simply beautiful - Arrival is actually until 6 p.m. but due to traffic jams and closures we didn't get there until 7:15 p.m., but we were still able to register and drive to our pitch. We had a comfort dog pitch with our own bathroom and an additional room for washing up. A mesh dog fence is also part of the pitch, which you can easily attach to the ground with pegs. A path led directly into the fields, which was great for walking the dogs. It was less than a 5-minute walk to the fenced-in dog run. Unfortunately, some dog owners still don't manage to clean up after their dogs (but that's not the site's fault!) The food in the restaurant is delicious, the portions are large and the price is perfectly acceptable and not at all overpriced. We didn't eat on site with two dogs and a child, but it's no problem to take the food with you. For us a really great place, with a nice camper community, we'd love to come back.

"Recreation park? - When we booked by phone, we said that our caravan was just under eight meters long and that we needed a correspondingly large pitch. When we got there, we actually had space for the caravan, the awning and just enough for the car. However, we wouldn't have been able to move around much on the plot. Then (and I've never experienced this before) the gray water connection was in the middle of the plot. In other words, the connection was under the tent carpet. Somewhat annoyed, we went to reception. There, an extremely arrogant, rude Ms. Fischer (she gave us her name, but it could be different) with short, dark hair told us that we could go home if we didn't like the pitch. Unbelievable, unbelievable! The other really nice and great colleague of Mrs. Fischer took care of the problem and took exceptionally good care of another place. TOP!!!!! I give this lady five stars. Today we wanted to complain about neighbors who really make a racket from early in the morning until late in the evening (a conversation with these neighbors unfortunately did not work). Once again, this Mrs. Fischer (the one with the dark, short hair) was there and was talking to a friend in front of reception. She hardly paid any attention to me and my wife. When I told her that we wanted to complain about our neighbors, we were told that the boss wouldn't be back until Monday. I told her that it wouldn't do us any good as we were leaving on Sunday. She replied that we could write an email. Such people have no place in the service sector, dear CP operator! PS: no reception at all on the pitch with O2. Neither telephone nor internet. Should also be mentioned on the homepage. And if hardly anyone sticks to rest periods, you don't have to mention them in the terms and conditions.

"Great CP with minor flaws - Beautifully situated campsite with a great layout. The pitch was not suitable for caravans with an awning, despite the fact that all dimensions had already been specified before booking. So we stood there without an awning. The private sanitary facilities are very modern, unfortunately they were not quite as clean. The washing-up area behind it was clean and very spacious. Permanent campers directly behind us, very friendly. Many walking and cycling paths. The sauna is hidden away. Restaurant available, but was closed from 1.1.23, and closed on New Year's Eve. Large vending machine in front of the restaurant with soup, sausage, milk, eggs, jam, cheese etc. from regional farmers. Hardly stocked at our time and was not replenished during this time. Bread roll service is great, bread rolls are deposited in American letterboxes directly on the pitch. All in all, we would love to come back.
