- Michelle M.October 2024Olumlu yanlarıThe luxurious bathrooms further up.Olumsuz yanları- Rural location, little to explore (saw everything after 2-3 days) - Pitches close together, little privacy - No direct lake view, despite photos - Outdoor showers unsuitable in cold weather - Few sanitary facilities, especially inadequate with many guests - Construction site right next to the pitches (noise from 8 am to 7 pm) - Directions poorly signposted, navigation system not helpful - Staff do not speak German, contrary to online information - Bike rental too expensive (€8 per hour, no daily rate) - Construction work not postponed despite imminent closure of the campsiteAttention construction site (as of October 2024)All in all, we wouldn't drive another 10 hours from Germany to get there. We left after the planned 9 days after 5. (After all, we only had to pay for the 5 despite reserving the 9) Some people left after 1-2 nights.
It is a rural campsite. There are a few forest paths. After 2-3 days you have seen... everything on foot. There are a few fields and many farmers in the area.
The 20 or so pitches for caravans (each with water and electricity connections) are right next to each other in a square. A bit too close for us as you sit right next to the other person's car at breakfast if it was full. The view of the lake from there according to the photos is not there because there is a slope and the lake disappears further up behind a piece of meadow.
The 4 simple showers & washbasins are outside. Okay to shower when it's warm. Not possible in the cold. But at night there is a golf caddy directly in front of the washbasins (see photo) which was not exactly possible to wash. There are 3-4 more bathrooms up the hill (probably for the ~20 apartments) These bathrooms are luxurious showers. Really very nice. Another indoor bathroom is currently being built next to the pitches. (Currently under construction) but overall, when there is a lot going on, there are definitely far too few sanitary facilities.
Arrival difficult, pitches do not have to be driven according to the navigation system but several small signs in the village that are barely visible.
Staff speak English & Slovenian. Not German as stated online, fortunately no problem for us.
Renting bikes per hour 8€ too expensive for us personally. A daily rate would be better. You can also hire kayaks.
Unfortunately you have to say that at our time there was a construction site with 2 excavators & several trucks daily from 8 am to 7 pm. A lot of noise because it is really 1 meter next to the pitches. We were allowed and put on a further away but 20 meters away is a construction site anyway just the sameOtomatik olarak çevrildi.
