Situated on the mountain above Morschach, this campsite offers almost everything you could wish for. Bread roll service, very clean (albeit somewhat older) sanitary facilities, farmhouse feeling with various animals on and around the site, great starting point for hikes of all... levels of difficulty, very friendly hosts, family-friendly with all kinds of play equipment for the kids (including a small tree house).
In short: for us, an absolute gem, exactly what we were looking for!

The very friendly owners give you a comprehensive briefing and are also happy to give you good tips on places to visit. The campsite has a wonderful playground within sight of the beautiful pitches. When the... clouds clear, you can enjoy a wonderful mountain panorama. There is also a small animal enclosure. We particularly appreciated the lounge and the cooking facilities with a fireplace, which the owner had always fired up. All this at an unbeatable price-performance ratio by Swiss standards. We always go on route or on way back from our trip to Greece. It is the most friendly, clean, pretty place to stay. The views are exquisite. Richard and his family are incredibly welcoming. We actually miss it when we don’t go for a year. It’s quiet. You... can go up to the ski resort above which is a lovely day out and also down the mountain to the lovely towns below and take boat trips over the lake of just amble around sightseeeing. One of the best campsites we have ever been to.....going back 2019!

We had actually chosen it because it was very conveniently located for a stopover. We ended up in a small idyll with a fantastic view, a relaxed atmosphere and a "petting zoo". I can't remember a nicer campsite. It is pleasantly small and the campers are spread... out on the pretty "meadow" with panoramic views. Incidentally, you don't have to pay for the showers (anymore?). Unfortunately, the main disadvantage for us is that dogs are no longer allowed from 2017.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

Only short stays are possible. The animals on the grounds and the playground with tree house are great for the children - the direct location near the cable car is great for excursions to Mount Stoos. The magnificent view of the mountain panorama is crowned every evening by the owner's alphorn playing. Good proximity to the highway towards the Gothardttunnel. Great mountain panorama, vacation farm atmosphere and very nice operators. The place is very small and familiar, but you can also be on your own. The children will find a paradise with the tree house, trampoline etc. and the animals convey a real farm feeling. Unfortunately, you have to pay extra for... the showers, which is disappointing. On the other hand, the sanitary facilities are heated and very well maintained. The store also has all the essentials, but you can also shop in the village or down in the valley. Without a car, however, only the gondola station on the Stoos is within easy walking distance, otherwise you are very remote, but it is nice and quiet and the view is great. For our children it was an entertaining stay with animals, a tree house and quick contact with other children on the site. For the parents, a camping pitch in a wonderful location. The animals are very nice (not only for children) and give the impression that you are actually on an active farm. Particularly interesting are the 8 chickens that greet every guest and look around curiously. Lovingly furnished down to the last detail, has something artistic about it, absolutely quiet (you can't hear the small street next door, no through traffic). Conclusion: small and nice. And everything is neat and clean. I can't think of anything that could be improved! Well, and the surrounding landscape: anything is possible!
