PriceEasy CP for sightseeingThe sanitary facilities have been renovated and are clean, depending on the guests of course. The site is very busy, very full in the evening (better to come early) and almost completely empty in the morning.
It is quiet at night, but during the day the ferry traffic right next door is noticeable.
You... can take the bus to the city center from a bus stop 10 minutes away on foot.
All in all, a well-suited CP for sightseeing.
Another point of criticism (apart from the chaotic pitch occupancy) is the price. It was the most expensive site on our trip through Norway so far. The high price is not reasonable (360 NOK/night for two adults with caravan and electricity) Showers quite small and with little water pressure.

The overcrowding also led to bottlenecks in the tight sanitary facilities, which then left a lot to be desired in terms of... maintenance. The advantage of the site is undoubtedly its favorable starting position for Besuvhe in Trondheim. The campsite is right next to the ferry terminal and you can hear the noise all the time (even at night), so if you're a light sleeper you should definitely take precautions (earplugs). But as I said, it is... ideal for exploring Trondheim, the distance to the city is only about 10km and the bus stops above the campsite and can be easily reached on foot in a few minutes. The sanitary facilities are very clean, but waiting times are to be expected. The site itself is quite uneven, so an early arrival ensures a reasonably level pitch. The best pitches are unfortunately occupied by permanent campers. The staff are very helpful!
