Very friendly and helpful staff/operators. There are very different pitches. Quiet pitches. Sanitary facilities very clean. Restaurant right on the pitch.

Campsite with good location
Good location for cycling in the peat, visiting the artists' village and also a cycle tour to Bremen are easily possible. There is also a good restaurant with delicious tarte flambée. We would go there again and again. But advance booking is recommended, especially at weekends.

We were here in Corona times, but apart from the hygiene concept, you didn't notice much of that. We were warmly welcomed and looked after. We even got firewood for free.

Few places to draw water Disposal options
Great quiet location near the artists' village of Worpswede
The campsite/pitch is wonderfully located at Hammehafen near Worpswede in Teufelsmoor.
Access is easy, even for larger vehicles/caravans.
You can choose a pitch and we opted for a pitch with a view of the harbor, although these pitches are more of a classic motorhome pitch size and are therefore smaller... than the pitches on the adjacent campsite.
There are two sanitary blocks, which could only be used by one person at a time due to the coronavirus, so they were not sufficient. This would be different under normal conditions. They were always clean.
There are very few places to draw water, I discovered two on the whole site, as well as options for disposing of service water.
The cassette toilet must be emptied in the disposal area of the mobile homes.
The prices are absolutely fine and can be classified as cheap.

We felt very comfortable on the site, as the location in the countryside far away from any traffic noise and the proximity to Worpswede were exactly what we expected. That's why we'll definitely come back to the site the next time we visit Worpswede.

Motorhome and caravan pitches on grass directly at the harbor basin. New, small sanitary facilities, very quiet, friendly staff. Very quiet, close to the artists' village of Worpswede

Motorhome parking Hammehafen
The motorhome site is located directly on the Hamme. You have a beautiful view of the small harbor. The sanitary facilities are super clean. The operators are very nice and helpful. They offer a bread roll service, even on Sundays. You should bring a bike, as Worpswede is about 2 km away.

Shopping facilities only in the village, sanitary building not yet finished. Poor cell phone network/internet
A real gem, where you can still slow down!
Simply laid out site at Hammehafen - near the bistro - for motorhomes and caravans with approx. 20 pitches - small. There is also a small meadow for tents. A sanitary building is under construction - currently the sanitary building of the campsite next door must/may be used (with key). Unfortunately,... this is not very clean. Showers with vending machines. Toilets are available at the bistro. The bistro offers a menu with small dishes and various drinks. We liked it. There is open air live music from time to time. Shopping facilities / bread rolls are only available in the village. Peat boat trips / canoe tours can be undertaken directly "from the caravan door" or you can swim at the nearby Hammestrand beach. Dogs are also allowed to swim anywhere in the Hamme - except on the sandy beach! For 2 people / caravan and electricity incl. dog (free of charge) we paid 22 euros for one night. It was well worth it! We had a great weekend!
