Despite being close to the road, the site is beautifully laid out. The sanitary facilities are spacious and very clean. We would come here again. The only drawback was all the roadworks and detour in Hamburg itself, which were terrible.

WLAN unfortunately not satisfactory. Very erratic. We have been going to the site for many years and have to realize that there is no real investment in the site. Paths have deep potholes. A small wash house at the back of the site would be an improvement. Knaus is certainly... not responsible for road and aircraft noise, but you should be aware of this. Actually a nice place to stay for visitors to Hamburg. Unfortunately you don't have the puddles under control when it rains, sometimes the pitches were up to 5 cm under water.
A water-bound path surface also needs to be redone or renovated from time to time.
Unfortunately, the site next to the A7 is very noisy, so no noise barrier helps, but that didn't lead to a devaluation for me.

Well suited for dog owners as there is a small city park on the doorstep for walking dogs.

Although the sanitary facilities are getting on in years, they are clean and functional. The convenient location, not far from the BAB exit on the A7, should be emphasized. Public transport connection by bus from the nearby Ikea parking lot.
However, the gray water disposal is inadequate, some of the water does not flow into the side gully.
The staff is friendly.
