"Can only be recommended - Ideally suited for caravans, large pitches of usually 12 x 12 mtr, mostly larger. Space for awning and caravan. There is plenty on offer for children, and the sea is very shallow for the first 30 meters. Restaurant, shopping facilities, playground, outdoor pool, trampoline, everything is there. Very tidy sanitary facilities, overall everything is very well maintained. Price fully o.k.. Rather not for youth groups, ideal for couples and families with children. We were there with our dog, which was no problem. There are also bathing facilities and areas that can be locked off for dogs.

"Good starting point to discover Oeland - We spent three nights at this centrally located campsite. Beautiful, right on the water. Fantastic sunsets. Pitches have different prices due to various services. There are almost no trees and you can choose freely. Showers are charged extra. Even if the pitch plus two people costs around 45 euros per night. A small drop of bitterness. It should also be mentioned that the hot water consumption cannot be interrupted and that there is not even any cold water after a shower unit has finished. The organization is professional, the staff very friendly. Reception is English-speaking. Service buildings are getting on in years, but very clean. Kitchen is spotless, appliances work. Small store offers everything you need. There is a restaurant on site. Also very friendly staff. The food is not sensational, but O.K.

"Relaxation & Sport - Friendly welcome in English and free choice of pitches. Open, spacious and mostly shadeless flat camping site with generous pitches. Several modern sanitary buildings that were clean when we were there, 3 restaurants and a store for the essentials including baked goods. Ideal place for active vacationers and families, lots of sports facilities: Wind & kite surfing (standing area), beach, several football pitches, basketball, cross-bike, volleyball, swimming pool and much more, there is even an agility course for dogs. Campers looking for peace and quiet will also find their corner here, but the area is less suitable for cycling or touring, so you should use your car. Our conclusion: one of the best and most beautiful places we have visited in our decades of camping.

"Great vacation spot for families. - Can recommend the place without hesitation. Great location and infrastructure. We arrived and immediately felt comfortable and on vacation. Had pitch 3134 and saw beautiful sunsets every evening from the pitch. Simply a great campsite

"beautifully situated with a view of the sunset and Kalmar - Off the road, behind a vacation home area, this great campsite is just 3 km from the Öland Bridge. we hadn't booked in advance and were able to choose a pitch, which was done quickly, because the luxury pitches right by the sea and dog beach make it easy. A huge pitch with a beautiful view of the Öland Bridge and the sunset in the evening. Simply wonderful!!! Very well-kept campsite, the permanent campers are mainly on the left part of the site. The sanitary buildings are sufficiently large and clean, there are also mixed toilets. However, the kitchen is a bit small and cramped. The dishwasher has been taken out of service. The pizzeria on site is super good!!! The beach is a bit rocky, but you can get into waist-deep water with a sandy bottom via the bathing jetty. There are lots of jellyfish, but they are harmless and you can touch them. The kids had fun on the two water slides, the bouncy cushion and playing soccer golf. The BMX track has just been extended. Entry to the swimming pool was free. Great dog beach with shallow water, at the edge of the site is a free-running area for dogs and an area with equipment for playing. The supermarket on site had sold out, but about 2km away is already the next with gas station and about 4km away, is a larger shopping center.

Many of our guests choose Saxnäs because of the perfect location just north of the Öland Bridge, which connects the island to the mainland. This central location means that you have easy access to the many places of interest on …Öland as well as the mainland, with the beautiful city of Kalmar and the Kingdom of Crystal. Öland has a long holiday season with different options depending on when you wish to visit us. The countryside on Öland is attractive during the spring with migratory birds and unique flowers in a historical setting. During the summer there are lots of events on the island. These usually take place under a clear blue sky, making the expression “an island in the sun” well deserved. September is probably the most beautiful month since it links the sparkling summer with the colourful autumn. An annual harvest festival held at the beginning of October celebrates Öland’s charm. This festival is very popular and is definitely worth a visit. Öland and KronoCamping Saxnäs will make sure that your visit to Öland is a memorable one. Next to our pleasant campsite is Saxnäs golf course, which offers excellent opportunities to play golf. Additionally, as our guest, we offer you the unique opportunity to bring your horse on vacation. You can also go horseback riding at Aledal horseback riding centre. And why not visit Öland’s famous zoo, which is only two kilometres away from us? At KronoCamping Saxnäs there are always activities but if you would like to relax Saxnäs is also the campsite for you.
