Kitchen very cramped. One bedroom was a walk-through room! The beds are more like camping beds than proper beds. There is a reason why there are no detailed pictures of the cabins on the website. Wanted to stay there for a few days and had to pay for the cabins in... advance. Since it was not bearable with the connecting room, we left earlier. Although we were assured verbally and in writing!!! that we would get back the money we had paid in advance, we did not receive the full amount. Around 70 euros were withheld for the "return transfer costs". That is an outrageous hourly rate! There are really nicer cabins in Norway. It was also not possible to hire a boat for the days. Hot in the summer since there isn't much shade.Beautiful campsite on the oceanThe site was in the middle of nature on the side of the ocean coast. We visited on a weekend, there was a crowd. We had a tent but most people were in caravans. By Saturday, the place was packed, not a spot in between campers. Lot of tics which we had no idea about. Beautiful walks, a boat or a kayak can be hired for fishing.

Barbecue hut, children's playground and benches on the rocks. Watching the sunset, walking along the paths and exploring the operator's ideas (hanging tents, etc.). It got crowded in the evening. Wonderful view when walking around the island. The sanitary facilities were absolutely okay, everyone was friendly and helpful. If you like it a bit remote and close to nature, this is the place for you. It had a large living room, a small kitchen, a small bathroom, 2 bedrooms (2 double bunk beds in one room and a double bunk bed in a separate room), a nice large terrace directly on the water. WLAN was available. The rooms were all clean and tidy. The terrace is... shared with the neighboring accommodation, but is also nice and big. There were several small boats moored that you could rent (but due to the bad weather they didn't rent to inexperienced people like us, which we saw as a positive). We went hiking in the area and the landscape was really sparse (and I mean that in a positive way). We were out and about for some time. However, you should have waterproof hiking boots with you when walking cross-country. The receptionist spoke very good English and was very friendly.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
Andreas und Petra S.Temmuz 2016Quiet and secluded (for now)We were here once before in 2011 and had the pleasure of getting to know the most unfriendly groundsman of our lives. After we found out that the site has been under new management since 2014, we were happy to return. The campsite is located on the small island of Lysøya and offers space for an estimated... 50 motorhomes/caravans. We received a friendly welcome and were given instructions. There is a free choice of pitches, but unfortunately there is hardly any sea view. The pitches are spread over 3 areas of roughly equal size, all of which are on grass. The middle area at the reception is mainly used, then the area in front fills up. The rear area is rarely used, the access road is not recommended for motorhomes/caravans due to the narrowness and I couldn't find an electricity distributor there. First choice for travelers with a tent who want to be a little out of the way. Short hikes (20 min.) can also be undertaken from here, ideally with a four-legged companion. Fantastic panorama with many small islands. Drinking water is only available at the centrally located sanitary and kitchen buildings. Showers cost NOK 10 per 4 minutes. The disposal point for chemical toilets (see photo) is outdated, to put it mildly. WLAN is included in the price, but only works near the reception. - Doris D.Haziran 2013The site is miles away from the main road. Beautifully situated in the countryside, functionally equipped. If you need electricity, you should take a very long cable with you as a precaution. However, the friendliness of the elderly gentleman leaves a lot to be desired. This was confirmed the next day... when he wanted to demand money from us at noon, even though he saw that we were in the final stages of dismantling - 10 minutes - and stood next to us and monitored everything!
