The leisure facilities are very varied due to the many possibilities in this region. The reception here is very nice and courteous, everything is well organized, our sanitary facilities were cleaned three times a day and... were always ok despite the high visitor frequency. The location is beautiful directly on the Moselle, the cycle path right next to it. Wifi was free and worked well.
The price is not a special offer, also once again the dog, which costs extra for NOTHING, unfortunately this has become fashionable.
The restaurant was expensive, sometimes unfriendly and stressed - food took a long time and there was hardly anything for vegetarians. Waiting an hour for fries is not necessarily a pleasure.

We chose this great place near Traben on the Moselle.
We have never regretted our decision! A great, well-kept site right on the banks of the Moselle, a super management... and staff team and lots of leisure activities on site and in the surrounding area. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay, even if the summer of 2022 meant too well at times and made us sweat a lot 😉. A small, on-site bathing area on the Moselle and a small pool area offered plenty of opportunities to cool off.

I would like to emphasize the friendliness of all the staff at the campsite and restaurant as well as the sometimes clever and innovative... ideas such as the self-check-in machine or the dog drinking trough in front of reception for four-legged friends of all sizes. I think little details like these show that they like to work for their guests!
The burgers from the on-site restaurant (only open Thu-Sun depending on the season) are perfectly prepared and better than at some highly acclaimed restaurants in the nearby Eifel region. The bread rolls on offer at reception are also of the better variety!

On arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner at the "vending machine" and were given support with the service. Although this would not have been necessary.
At the same time, we were also given the key to the private sanitary facilities.
The private... sanitary facilities, directly on the pitch (704), are small but functional and were found to be in a clean condition.
The pitch, with a view of the Moselle, was very large and equipped with ELECTRICITY, WATER and WASTE WATER.
We ate at the RIFF restaurant several times. They have great BURGERS with a very friendly SERVICE.

What we experienced as a disadvantage were the camping guests from the Netherlands who have been coming there for... years (5 to 40 years) and already know everything. This also worked on the youth, who already betrayed everything that was coming, pity surprise gone
A path that was closed en masse for a neighborhood barbecue and we were looked at angrily while we didn't even have to pass it with the car. I did put it back but should not dare to want to drive through was evident from several looks.
This atmosphere really made us feel like outsiders. People were friendly but everything stuck together and we were looked at as "the outsiders". This also affected the youth, who were the first to sign up everywhere and so we missed the boat to swim in the volcano which the regulars have been doing for years. The youth also determined that my children could no longer enter the pool because there were already 6 children in it instead of getting out and giving my children the opportunity to play.
We also had a German who threatened to stab other children's balls with a knife. In the evening and at night there was no direct security on the campsite so the regular clique determined the safety. To top it all off, there was a fight among the regulars where one of them went home the next day because the atmosphere was broken.
In short, great environment, super activities only the atmosphere on the campsite of especially the Dutch who massively shouted "see you next year!" to each other make us decide never to come back here. We loved it all round. Our children almost only came to eat because they were so enthusiastic about the entertainment, the swimming pool, the playground, the jetty etc. The banana boat ride and the Kettcars... that you can hire there were the best. The staff were very, very friendly all round and always tried to make everyone feel comfortable. Ordering bread rolls in the morning was great and the burgers in the restaurant were delicious! We had booked a campsite right on the Moselle, which was very well-kept and tidy. The sanitary buildings were just as clean. An outdoor pool and a store for everyday needs are a few minutes away by car, but you can also buy a few things in the small store on the site. So everything was perfect! See you again this summer! A small store there for emergency stuff to get and including delicious wine with super friendly staff. Sanitary facilities are clean and showers work fine. A smaller pool for the younger kids, and a slightly larger / deeper one for the other campers. Nice activities for the children. This weekly program is located at the reception and caters for everyone up to 12/13 years old. Soccer field and playground are available. Many activities to do in area hiking biking, mountain biking, climbing park, kind of rope bridge over a valley etcOlumsuz yanlarıWith / through corona you could enter pool with maximum 6 people and not all showers were open.... that was sometimes a bit inconvenient but is force majeure for the campsite.
