The pitch was large with a direct view of the Pulvermaar.
The site is terraced and the pitches for holidaymakers are located down by the water. There is a steep climb up to the (old) wash house. We get quite warm walking up and that's... a good thing, because the wash house is unheated!!!
The showers are old but clean. There are
There is no possibility to put your things (e.g. towel) in the shower cubicles, you can only take a shower and then get dressed outside.
There is not a single hook at the washbasins. You have to put your things on the bench in the middle of the room (like in the changing room of a gym).
The water temperature in the showers is fixed and cannot be adjusted.
At night you definitely need a flashlight if you need to go out, as the lower part of the site is not lit. Good restaurant (food and ice cream), nice operators, helpful. Bread roll service. Swimming facilities on site, but difficult to access and very narrow. In summer there is a lot of traffic around the campsite during the day due to access to the swimming pool. Clean. Decelerated.Camping that almost no longer exists. No entertainment, manageable size, quiet, old-fashioned but clean sanitary facilities, hot showers without the usual extra charge. Friendly hosts, a wonderful lake - the deepest north of the Alps. Bistro with good chips and currywurst. Pizza! Good starting point for excursions into the volcanic past of the Eifel. There are trees and a forest path between the pitch and the lake, otherwise you can walk to the water very quickly. Permanent campers live in, on and around the slope, just like the sanitary facilities. Speaking of sanitary facilities:... the facilities are quite outdated - but were always clean and were cleaned several times a day during our stay. From the campsite you have free access to the Pulvermaar - crystal-clear, cold fresh water. Also great for snorkeling!Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

Wonderfully quiet. The operators are very nice and uncomplicated. Very good value for money. Sanitary a bit outdated, but everything clean. Only communal changing room in front of the showers, but at least you don't have to buy shower... tokens. Attention: The lights go out at 10:30 pm sharp! Continuous radio in the WC. Covered sinks outside. A children's playground is available. The Eifel and the surrounding area of the Pulvermaar have a lot to offer. There is a footpath around the Pulvermaar itself, as well as an outdoor pool and pedal boat hire.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
Thomas F.June 2014Olumlu yanlarıClose to the highway, quiet, uncomplicated, inexpensiveA little dusty but nice ...We camped here as a stopover for one night with our dog and WW and were warmly welcomed. The location directly on the volcanic lake is very beautiful and wonderfully quiet. There is an outdoor swimming pool in the immediate vicinity and you can take a lovely walk around the lake. The campsite is terraced... and the pitches are OK. The sanitary facilities were also OK. Overall, however, the site is a little dusty. However, a longer stay would not be to our taste, especially as the site exudes this, how shall we say, old-fashioned Eifel permanent camper idyll. All in all: very good value for money - but due to the location, the campsite would have greater potential.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
Jana J.May 2012Despite the really beautiful location and the friendly owner / staff, this campsite could be much better, especially the outdated sanitary facilities. The outdoor pool and boat rental are within walking distance, but unfortunately cannot be used with a dog. All in all, recommended for a weekend vacation.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
