- Sonja v.August 2024Olumlu yanlarıThe staff do their bestOlumsuz yanlarıA single disasterMass people attitude or: How much tourism can a country still cope with? This site is very, very large and has to accommodate around 1800 to 2400 guests at moderate capacity.
The sanitary facilities are by no means designed for this and look correspondingly unappetizing after (mis)use; even the hourly cleaning staff can't save anything, especially in the evening and at night....
The whole place is stuffy, you can't feel a breeze through the many tall trees, which only provide limited shade.
The beach is very narrow, there are 2 reserved sections where you can rent sun loungers and parasols.
The prices at the beach bar are overpriced, everything is served in plastic cups. The crowds are very large and the staff are overwhelmed. This applies in principle to the entire campsite. It should perhaps be well organized, but it doesn't work out that way. There is a fence along the entire beach with 4 access doors, one door for each section of the campsite, which can only be opened with an authorization card. You feel like you're locked in a cage. There is no toilet directly on the beach, which causes some parents to send their child to the side into the bushes to do their business - PFUI !!!
The distances to the showers are enormous - understandable - but you can't get back to the pitch with clean feet as sand is stirred up and carried along with every step.
Well, what can I say: it was my first camping vacation in this respect.
If you want to go to the pizzeria in the evening, you have to book in advance: here, too, the staff are otherwise not enough to cope with the mass tourism. The food tastes good as long as you don't expect anything special.
We came back to Tuscany from Paestum via Rome, and we would have liked more relaxation... However, with such a high volume of tourists, I don't think that's possible anywhere in Italy! -Very great MTB trails! From flowing to steep and technical
-Price: 380 euros per week even in low season
- No showers on the beach. So you have to go back and forth to the campsite several times and the showers at the campsite are very sandy.

We really liked it for a relaxing time of cozy camping without much activity. The site was quiet due to the season, in high season it will be full and therefore very large.

- Achille C.June 2018Olumlu yanlarıLocation, nature, restaurants and marketOlumsuz yanlarıToilet facilities, priceIt can be improvedThe campground is well run by courteous staff. However, there are some very negative aspects that need to be pointed out. - First of all, the price. The campground requires 48 hours notice for early departures. Considering that we are still not in very high season and the campground was mostly empty... it is not clear why. 458 € for 7 days stay (actually 6 because we left early but the seventh was charged anyway) is too much considering the services offered and the period (June). The receipt is not analytical and does not list the individual items. Certainly not a tribute to transparency.... - The services are dated. But what really disgusts are the cockroaches found everywhere in the morning, inside and outside the facilities. The staff cleans up all the time but the problem persists and recurs every morning. - The animation inside the campground is very discreet but one can unfortunately hear very clearly that of the neighboring campground. - The pine forest that stretches throughout the campground is very beautiful and maintained carefully and in an environmentally friendly manner. However, the uncultivated foliage of the trees and bushes make it difficult for campers and caravans to pass through. There are also positive aspects that should be mentioned such as an excellent supermarket, two restaurants (one very good one that I had a chance to try), the spendid location a stone's throw from Cala Violina, and the mtb shuttle services (half-day tour 35 €).Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

- Gabriele S.May 2018Olumlu yanlarıNone for us!!!Olumsuz yanlarıMosquitoes, dirty sanitary facilities, far too expensive, dark pitches, remote, zero serviceMotorhomeVery disappointed, way too expensive, 2 nights 130,00 Euro! !!!!!!!! Absolutely no value for money, disastrous sanitary facilities, plague of mosquitoes, cave-like pitches and difficult to get to, totally out of the way, you have to cycle along dangerous main roads if you want to see something or go... shopping. So this was definitely the last time we saw this place. The worst we have ever experienced in our camper career. The beach was also unclean.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

- Sönke G.August 2017Olumlu yanlarıGreat natural pitches with reasonable infrastructure. Beach and sea. No cars/scooters - good for small children.Olumsuz yanlarıSanitary facilities Poorly laid out car parking spaces No leisure activities outside the campsite accessible without a carBeach and sea - pure relaxation2016: Complicated reservation worked out. We knew exactly what we wanted thanks to a short trip in the spring and precise pitch selection. Only the grass on the pitches, which was still there in spring, was gone. So (dusty) sandy pitches - perfectly fine - but you should take as much awning carpet with... you as possible. The pitches are fantastic and usually quite shady. Lots of bushes and trees give the pitches a wonderful distance from each other. The size and exact location of the pitches is not shown on the map. You have to see this on site. Many very large pitches. In August, the beach was deprived of the best pitches by the professionalized Italian (!) "front row" reservers from the morning onwards. It was really full - but there was still a place for our North German umbrella armada in the second to fifth row. The two restaurants were quite good. The one near the entrance to the square in particular had good fish dishes (make sure you book in season), but the one on the beach is also good. The supermarket was very well stocked. There were plenty of tasty bread rolls in the morning (not just "Helle"). WINDSURFER: We only went out on the water three times in two weeks. Thermal winds freshen up at midday. Up to force 3 - never more. Not enough in relation to the waves, but very pleasant for sunbathing and swimming. Night temperatures at most 24-25 degrees, never more. The parking situation for people who have to park a car is bad, to say the least. There is always space somewhere - but after a long search it can be "at the end of the world". This means that the family is already asleep after an evening visit to the neighboring villages (dropped off at the gate), while you have to make the 25-minute walk from the far end of the parking lot to the parking space - after a 20-minute search for a parking space. The parking spaces are 190 cm wide and separated by 80 cm high wooden stakes for scrubbing the paint. You can then sleep very well, as it gets really quiet at night after the animation and its consequences have died down in the front area (approx. 10:30 am). Security staff then do their rounds sporadically by bike - I think that's good. Our children 12, 9 and 3 liked it very much: Great beach that slopes gently into the water. Every day an (?!?) ice cream from the stand with the moderately long queue in front of it. Of course there is only one waiter :-) The sanitary facilities do not deserve 4 stars. They do not live up to the standards of the campsite. However, there were always cleaners at work, so at least it can be described as simple and clean. WLAN very well developed and fast (log in via Facebook). CONCLUSION for us: The beach and the mostly great pitches are the real asset here that the operator can use to its advantage - and it does. We'll be back because we like what's on offer for summer chilling. Update 2017: We were there in mid to late August and found the situation described above unchanged. Only the wind was now nice for windsurfing on some days ;-) . This year we have lots of resin drops and streaks on the vehicle and awning on another pitch. Now I know why some local campers put a thin film over their awning.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Antje G.June 2017Olumlu yanlarınatural, shady, clean, very friendly staff, very well-stocked storeOlumsuz yanlarıSanitary facilities quite old and not so well distributed.Great nature campsiteWe stayed here for the first time at Whitsun 2017 (on recommendation) and it was one of our best vacations - absolutely relaxing. The site is very close to nature and the pitches are quite large with plenty of space to the neighbors. Thanks to the pine trees it was nice and shady and the undergrowth... protected us from the neighbors. There is hardly any entertainment (fortunately) but there are some sports facilities (sailing, tennis, an on-site high ropes course). The beach is clean and there is enough space to lie on the beach without a sun lounger. The shopping facilities were also great with a very good range of organic products and fruit and vegetables. This campsite is something for individualists who like it purist - no frills. The open-air sanitary facilities are not new and very basic - but clean (what more could you want). Depending on where you are, it can take longer to get there. All in all, it was just right for us and we will definitely be back. However, I think that luxury 5-star campers would probably not be happy.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

- Ornella B.August 2016Beautiful campsite but with two flaws! Then. My husband and I have been coming to this campground for about 15 years! We find it a wonderful campsite because : -it is immersed in the green of the pine forest and therefore has a lot of shade -the pitches are large and, above all, well isolated from each other by the undergrowth -the undergrowth... is one of the important qualifying aspects of the campground: it isolates well from the view and noise and gives a feeling of green, cool and relaxing (vice versa, the neighboring campground, Baia Verde, has no undergrowth and is a whole 'other thing, with the pitches stuck to each other!) -the sea is very beautiful, almost always calm, with clear water that slopes gently, the sand is fine and so all this makes it very suitable for children, even very small ones -the central restaurant of the campsite is really excellent !!! Exquisite pizzas and land dishes, but especially excellent seafood dishes : e.g. fried squid (my passion!)- seafood salads -risottos and pastas with fish sauce, pastas with lobster or crab etc. The waiters are very friendly and the service is fast, even with so many people at the tables! - the campground market has quality products, the fruit-vegetables always fresh and much is local. There are also many excellent organic, lactose-free and gluten-free products-I tried them myself because, unfortunately, I have several intolerances! -The cafe has very fresh, hot brioche every morning for breakfast and, for those with intolerances, they even make a great soy cappuccino! - there are also squirrels, which in the quietest and most peaceful moments, come down from the trees and come all the way to the pitch, just a few feet from the table! Mine were fond of peaches, tomatoes and nuts, which they ate a little on the spot and took the rest away to their den! -The bazaar/journal has games and various interesting items and especially beautiful children's books. The first books (from the Steamboat) that my grandson started reading, after he was in the first grade, I bought right there -the tree adventure course is very well done and my grandchildren (4 and 7 years old ) had a great and safe time - good is also the Miniclub animation and the evening Baby Dance (although, sincerely,we preferred the one of last year) - pleasant and very pleasant is also the Outdoor Cinema under the stars, which broadcasts twice a week nice movies for adults and children That said, let's talk about the main defect of the campsite : THE BATHROOMS!! I am referring to the bathrooms on the Coastal Way, that is, the ones we used to frequent. They are old and ruined as a structure, very hot because they are sheltered from the sun only by a miserable ondolux, they often lack hooks to hang objects or personal clothing, the walls are therefore all pitted here and there! Some toilet planks are ruined or rocking or not staying up, so they fall pleasantly on your back! The button to make the water go down the toilet almost never works the first time and you have to press it several times to make it go down. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, not so much that of the floors, but that of the interior doors (full of fingerprints, dirt, sand, dark stains, etc.) and the door handles: they are literally greasy and bisected! Who knows what a den of germs!!! It was disgusting for me to touch them and I used to open them protecting my hands with toilet paper! There is not only the floor and the toilet, tell that to the cleaning staff! Also, since the showers are in the same area as the toilets, the result is that, inevitably, the floor is always wet and it creates a nice "paciugo"! The two should be separated, as is done in several campsites I have visited! But the worst fault of the bathrooms and the most unpleasant thing, this year, was a CLEANING LADY (long, black hair in a ponytail, bangs ... unfortunately, I don't know her name, because she never had a name tag) : DIFFICULT TO FIND A PERSON MORE SICK, SCORTESE, IRRITING!!! These bathrooms on Coastal Street have two hallways (with toilets) side by side, but separated from each other.Usually, other years, when they cleaned one hallway, they would (cleverly!) leave the other one open for those who needed it! This lady, on the other hand, would (stupidly or .... sadistically?!) close them both together at the same time, meaning that she would bar them with buckets or mops and, even VILLANTLY, not let anyone in! I was present when a little girl had to pee a lot and she wouldn't let her in, forcing her to wait 10 minutes or more. Other times, he would respond to people who wanted to come in that they should go to another bathroom......, but keep in mind that the bathrooms at the campground are quite far from each other and, for those in need, it is not easy to walk for 5 or more minutes! In addition, he would sometimes force people entering to wash their feet first, even if they were clean, or to rub their slippers on the dirty, black, vomitous rags he put at the entrance! I put up with this for a few days, for the sake of quiet life and because on vacation you don't feel like arguing and protesting, until however there was the classic "straw that broke the camel's back"! One day I went to take a shower around 2:30 p.m., and as soon as I entered, the aforementioned lady, in a very rude and discourteous tone, urged me to hurry up, because she had to clean up!!! I was not even able to take a calm and peaceful shower, because she, behind the door, was constantly urging me! Probably, poor thing, she is a person full of rancor and who is angry with the world...and tries to vent..sadistically as she can! I exposed the problem to the manager (Mr.Roberto Vergottini) so that he would take action ! If in management they don't know what is going on, they can't even take the necessary steps, so I feel it is incumbent that we go and inform them! The situation has improved, however, this person, so unpleasant and rude,is totally unsuitable for the position and I hope not to find him in my way again next year !!! Moreover, she almost made me constipated (pardon the term), so much was the desire to avoid her and not see her! - The second defect of the campground is the bicycles, which run around at all hours and in all streets, even at high speeds, especially when ridden by kids! It is useless to write in the regulations that one must go slowly and not exceed a certain speed : if then the controls are not there....everyone does what they want!!! Also, at night, only a few bikes have lights! Most of them don't even have a measly little light, they are completely black and you see them suddenly swooping down on you! I remember a few accidents that happened in past years, one even serious, with a little girl badly injured and her dad in despair. This year we came close to having a bike without lights and at high speed run into us after a curve! If it happened to run into a child, who knows what would happen! The campground management takes a lot of responsibility!!! We need checks checks, several times a day and in the evening, and, if one breaks the rules, we impound his bike until he leaves! It must be clearly written in the regulations! In conclusion,if the management could solve these problems, the campground would be .... perfect! Ornella BozziOtomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Gianni P.July 2016Olumlu yanlarıWell maintained, beautiful vegetation covering and between plots, wide beach and gently sloping water.Olumsuz yanlarıA bicycle is essential for some pitches.Stay in Punta AlaFor the second time we returned to Punta Ala campground. We are a family with two children (under 7 years old) and we sleep in tents. The campground is very quiet, with spacious pitches well sheltered from each other by vegetation. Access to the sea is easy and the water slopes gently, so perfect for... children (one of the main reasons we chose it). The campground is very quiet, so less suitable for those seeking entertainment, which is nonetheless present.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Gerhard P.July 2016Highly recommendedBeautifully laid out campsite, some very large pitches, with lots of bushes and the like. the pitches are sometimes noticeably separated, shady due to high pine trees, sanitary partly a bit older but very clean, actually constantly cleaned, hot water was never an issue, teis long distances within the... CP, bike very advantageous, super and moderately priced store, lots of organic products, very friendly, restaurant chronically overloaded, nothing works in HS without a reservation, sometimes long waiting times for take-away pizza, animation (solo italiano) very restrained, hardly any noise pollution (in contrast to Baia Verde next door), beach great, very shallow for a long time, enough space to lie/sit/play. Conclusion: highly recommended, we will be backOtomatik olarak çevrildi.

- Tina S.August 2015Olumlu yanlarıvery beautiful sandy beach with gentle entry into the sea plenty of shade due to large pine forestOlumsuz yanlarıoutdated wash houses Forest very unkempt little helpfulness poor access to the campsiteCampsite completely unkempt and outdatedThe campsite is located in a beautiful pine forest, but it is not maintained at all and is therefore totally overgrown. The only advantage is the beautiful sandy beach and the gentle entrance into the sea. Fortunately, we were in a mobile home with its own bathroom, as most of the wash houses only have... freely accessible standing toilets and no "normal" toilets. The shower on the beach was not cleaned or sand removed once in a week. The equipment in the mobile home is good, but the dishes were quite dirty and we had to rinse them completely. The access to the campsite is a slightly gravelled sandy road with lots of potholes and the parking spaces are so narrowly marked off with wooden posts that you can only just drive in with your car and it is difficult to get in and out. The staff are not very helpful and the person who picked up the mobile home only spoke Italian, so it was impossible to communicate in English or German. We will not visit the campsite a second time as we have been to Italy many times and the campsites have all been better.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
