"Campsite - Thank you for allowing us to be your guests. We would love to come back. From the kiosk to the cleaners and reception, gardeners etc. Everyone was lovely and friendly. "Very beautiful 😊 - I really like the campsite! Very friendly staff, always clean and attractive wash houses and of course the beautiful lake with wonderful water. It wasn't my first time there and I'll definitely be back 😃

"Beautiful, centrally located place - I had a seminar in the area and spent the nights in the camper van on the campsite. As I was there in February, the site was naturally not that busy. But there were still a few (permanent) campers, so I didn't feel lonely. The pitches for day guests are large and easily accessible. The wash house is easily accessible, clean and tidy. I can imagine that it's really nice at the lake in summer, even though the site is in an industrial area. But you don't notice much of that on the pitch. At the time of my stay there was construction work going on in the entrance area, but it didn't bother me. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will also use this site for overnight stays at my next seminar.

"Much too loud! - If you have the Frankfurter Kreuz in sight from home, you might call this place "quiet"! But if you live quietly, you'll feel like you're at Frankfurter Kreuz!!! Well, our pitch was really huge with a great view of the lake! But there was a road less than 100 meters behind it. It wasn't very busy at the weekend, but on Monday it was already busy from about 4:30 am! In addition, there was a main road over the lake within earshot and then the proximity to the highway, which you could also hear because the wind was "favorable"! Absolute horror for someone who lives in a quiet area! Then there was the size of the site with the corresponding marches! Well, there was a wash house relatively close by, but it was quite old and in need of renovation! Just seeing the "sports showers" makes me shudder! You can also call these things "legionella spinners", because if the water isn't heated to a minimum of 60°, you're guaranteed to get legionnaires' disease from the heavy spray! And then there are the shower tokens! Better to wash in the caravan! The other wash house was also newer, but not much better. At least you could do your washing up there "under the roof"! Disposal chemical toilet also only there. The first place where I drove to the disposal by car! Gray water disposal? You're supposed to drain it "into a gully somewhere". This solution was also completely new to me! All in all: lots and lots of permanent campers and I don't think it's a place for people who want peace and quiet - especially at night - during the season! Once was already too much!

"We were very satisfied - Stayed at this site in the off-season (mid-October). Got a pitch with a view of the lake. Sanitary facilities were very clean, the groundsman was very friendly and helpful. You can be in Seligenstadt in a few minutes by bike, very good value for money.

Profil

Seecamping Mainflingen Ideal gelegen, in der Metropol Region Rhein-Main, zwischen Spessart, Taunus und Odenwald - ganzjährig geöffnet! Unmittelbar angrenzend an den Badesee lädt Seecamping Mainflingen sowohl zur Kurzzeiterholung am Wochenende als auch für den großen Urlaub ein. Der ca. 7 …ha große Campingplatz bietet knapp 300 Dauercampern ganzjährig Erholung sowie etwa 80 Plätze für Touristen und Durchreisende. Für Urlauber ohne Campingausstattung stehen 3 Mietunterkünfte (Wohnwagen mit festem Vorbau) zur Verfügung. Der Platz ist mit allen erforderlichen Einrichtungen ausgestattet. Ein neues Sanitärgebäude wurde im Mai 2008 in Betrieb genommen. Es verfügt neben Duschen und Toiletten in ausreichender Anzahl auch über einen Baby-/ und Kinderwaschraum (mit Wickelbrett, Babybadewanne, Dusche und Toilette), einen Spülraum sowie einen Behindertenraum mit Dusche und Toilette. Als Beitrag zum Klimaschutz wird der gesamte Campingplatz inzwischen mit Strom aus erneuerbaren Energiequellen versorgt. Für das leibliche Wohl sorgt ein Kiosk. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Waren des täglichen Bedarfs bestehen in Mainflingen, Netto, Rossman und Teegut, sowie Bäckerei. Größere Einkäufe sind im nur 5 km entfernten historischen Seligenstadt oder im 10 km entfernten Aschaffenburg möglich. Für Jugendgruppen bis zu 32 Personen stehen etwas abseits auf einer kleinen Halbinsel feste Unterkünfte sowie eine Grillstelle bereit. Die Nutzung des Badesees ist für alle Campinggästen selbstverständlich kostenlos.
