"Very nice place / helpful and friendly - Very nice site, perfectly located for excursions in the Lucerne region. The front pitches are right on the lake. Great bathing area. Very friendly and helpful owner/maintainer. We also really liked the fact that there were lots of tourers and few permanent pitches. The sanitary facilities could be a bit bigger.

"Always worth a visit! - We always enjoy coming back to this beautiful and well-kept site. The pitches are generously sized for motorhomes and caravans. The campsite warden is very committed and has lots of good tips for leisure activities in the surrounding area. The beach and water are wonderful for a refreshing dip. Shopping in the village of Merlischachen, approx. 600 m away. Sanitary facilities are housed in containers but are spotlessly clean and well maintained. Although the main road and railroad are close by, the site is quiet. We also like the fact that dogs (and other pets) are not allowed.

" - A top campsite! The location is fantastic, campers can choose their pitch right by the lake (with crystal clear water), there is plenty of space from other campers as the site is not overcrowded. The sanitary facilities (containers) are very well maintained. Refrigerators and freezers are accessible, a supermarket is not far away (5 min walk). The camping pass reduces entrance fees in the surrounding area (ferry trips, Lucerne Transport Museum and much more). The grass is also very nice - the ground doesn't look worn. All in all, a brilliant place with 5 stars.

" - a lovely campsite with fantastic views of Lake Lucerne very close to shops and bars and excellent transport links train or bus into Lucerne. The owner is very friendly and I have stayed here 3 times.

Excellent situation on shore of Lake Lucerne with wonderful mountain view. Own little beach, free of charge. Grass pitches next to the lake. 9 km from Lucerne, accessible by train, bus and boat. Various excursions, boat cruises, hiking, biking. Close …to Mt. Rigi, Queen of the Mountains (6000 ft). *** Characteristics: Our campground is opened on request from May until September and offers about 15 pitches for tourists, 100 metres of shoreline and an own little beach. Please note that we provide only basic facilities in a mobile building put up in 2007. We have grass sites for caravans/campervans (limited access 3.5 tons and 7m in overall length). Separate parking. *** Our Prices (minimum stay 5 nights in peak): 2 persons and caravan or campervan max. 3.5 tons and 7m overall, power 6 amps: from CHF 48 to 56 / Extra person from 14 yrs: CHF 12 / Children from 2 yrs: CHF 6 / Pets are not allowed at any time. *** All prices are per night, including taxes and free showers. Cash payment in Swiss Francs required. Sorry, no cards. *** Departure from 9 to 11am. Closed for lunch from 11am to 3pm. Arrival and check-in times from 3 to 6pm.
