Camping Diana Heide is a beautiful campsite in beautiful wooded area. Partly because of the quiet surroundings but still close to Assen where you can easily cycle to, you can have a quiet and not too strenuous vacation. This is where the good staff really helps. The staff is very customer friendly and... if you have problems they are happy to help you. We experienced this last year with a caravan fire. The campground owner and staff helped us extremely well and professionally. The fire was out before the fire department got there. We were able to stay in a chalet for as long as we needed until we got everything back in order. We really appreciated this. The food there is also delicious because there is always something "good" for everyone on the menu and it is served nicely. A chat with the staff in the restaurant is always in the cards as well. For the children there is an animation team in high season who do fun things. The pool, on the other hand, is on the small side. But of course you can't change everything at once. Besides caravan sites (all comfort sites 10 Amp. With central antenna and water with drainage) and mobile homes they also offer hiker's huts. This is really a top campsite!!!

Very nice, large pitches with electricity, water and cable TV. Site with beautiful trees. Nice supermarket, entertainment program for children, mini golf course, fishing pond, etc. We will definitely be back.

We were with a group of 10 people over Whitsun 2010 for the 1st time on this place, and were pleasantly surprised. The site is in a very nice location. Part of the site is right next to a small swimming and fishing lake (Mücken!!!!) Then there are pitches in the forest and in sunny areas. The pitches... are so huge that you could comfortably stand on one pitch with 2 caravans and an awning, which is unfortunately not allowed. The campsite is located in a moor-heath landscape, which is ideal for jogging and cycling. We certainly weren't there for the last time..... It was a shame that the swimming pool was not usable (probably needs to be renovated). There is also a well-stocked small market where you can get freshly baked rolls and bread in the morning.
