unkempt and unhealthy location and accommodation and the smell of the paper mill was horrible.
to be avoided at all costs
we spent 14 days in August 2015, despite a pretty prima bord campsite, we were quickly disillusioned: -Dirty mobile home, even moldy, "rotten" fridge (there's no other word, photos to support this), HS taps the children (11 and 6 years old) never managed to open or close the taps, the bedding horrible... to the point that they had to change us a mattress during the stay. - Our pitch was covered in brambles, tree branches and stumps. We were surrounded by the hosts' mobile homes !!!!, real garbage dumps, with up to 15 bags of rubbish piled up + empty bottles + packaging... - The swimming pools are very nice, but absolutely not heated to the maximum, at 19°. -The reception staff had absolutely no knowledge of the region, and sent us to Dax to do certain activities, even though there was everything we needed just 5 minutes from the campsite. - On the 1st night, it was 14°C in the mobile home, so we asked for extra blankets. We were told that we could only have one blanket for 4 !!!! and we had to wait 7 days for it! morality: we slept with our clothes on. - The food is good and affordable, despite the obnoxious staff (manageress and barman), for example: one evening my son had the misfortune to ask for a glass of water and was told: "we don't have any water, go and see at the bar opposite".... - The minigolf course is out of order and the sports fields are moderately maintained. The + equipment rental is free. - ATTENTION a paper mill is located a few kilometers away and gives off a very very strong sewage odor on certain days. - the campsite is quite noisy.
