So it could hardly be better.
This is how camping should be, without a lot of frills.

We were only there for one night, but will definitely be back for a few more days. The sanitary facilities are in top condition. There are quite a lot of rules to follow, but this is self-explanatory and doesn't really get in the way.
The operators are competent and helpful.
The seating at the reception invites you to linger.
There is a swimming pool which we did not use due to the weather conditions.
The... bread rolls come fresh from the bakery in the morning and are very tasty.
If you want to be spoiled in the evening, you should go to Stahle (about 7 km by bike) and eat at the Hotel Restaurant Kikenstein. The campsite is an ideal starting point for exploring, especially as the small passenger ferry in Heinsen is back in operation. Whether you want to head towards Holzminden/Höxter or Bodenwerder, Heinsen is a great... place to start. The site itself is well maintained and all the sanitary facilities are very clean. The pitches are not parceled out, but are really spacious (some with paved terraces!) and in very good condition. The location directly on the Weser is a dream, and the peace and quiet seems to spread to all the guests. The pitches are spacious and very clean. The Dutch, very friendly hosts make sure that the lawns are immaculate, which of course also contributes to the cozy atmosphere. The sanitary facilities were always spotlessly clean, despite the site... being fully booked. Shower tokens were issued for showering (1,-€/3,5min). Overall, however, we found the price/performance ratio ok. Fresh bread rolls were available to order in the morning. Shopping is possible in Polle, 3km away. The campsite is very well maintained and is beautifully and very quietly situated right on the Weser. The pitches are very spacious, but have no direct fresh and waste water connections, although the distance to the nearest water point is often very... short. The sanitary facilities are well equipped, but we noticed a few small things that could be improved, such as a missing shower gel holder and the low water pressure in the showers. Otherwise, the sanitary facilities were always very clean. The Reus family is always very friendly and very helpful, which we have hardly ever experienced before. The pool should also be emphasized, which is absolutely great. In the mornings, you can order bread rolls in advance from reception the evening before, which are excellent. Apart from that, there are no other shopping facilities. We had relaxing days in Heinsen and can only recommend the campsite for cycling and relaxing!Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

The campsite is really peaceful. You can really... relax here. You can also go swimming on the Weser. There are plenty of opportunities for shopping and activities in the surrounding area.
