- Kempar V.September 2019Olumlu yanlarıNo dogs allowed on Dune Island!!!! Seals can be seen on the island, keep a distance of 30m from them. Lockers for charging phones.Olumsuz yanlarıThere are no disadvantages, except that it's quite windy :) Toilets are a bit farBeautiful place for a campsite, a short walk from the beach, WHERE THEY ARE RUNNING HOMEWhen you come here, be sure to take proper pegs at least 30 cm long for fixing the tent in the sand. You need to book the site in advance. I recommend going here outside the high season, for example in September when we were almost alone. There is a small airport on the islet with a restaurant and food. And when swimming in the sea, don't be alarmed if a seal surfaces next to you. It won't hurt you, but remember to keep a 30m distance from them.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Irene K.August 2015Olumlu yanlarıFull of nature, no hustle and bustle, no dogs. If you want a bit of hustle and bustle, head over to the main islandOlumsuz yanlarıIf you're looking for a party, you're in the wrong place. You have to lug your luggage around, and disembarking is not everyone's cup of tea.Pure natureIf you want to camp in the countryside and can do without electricity on site, this is the place for you. I spent 2.5 weeks there with my daughters (9+11) in the summer of 2015 and all 3 of us want to go again next year.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- C. G.May 2015Olumlu yanlarıSeals very close, sea and beach almost exclusively for us in the evening, restaurant nearby. Never stayed in a more original place (in May)Olumsuz yanlarıNothing for "5-star campers" - no electricity and 200 m to the wash house. But it's worth it!Close to the sand, sea and seals - camping the original way!We have been there several times with friends and children. We've never experienced so much nature in one long WEOtomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Michael R.August 2011SUUPER!!! This is still really classic camping with a tent. Wonderfully situated in the middle of nature. Beautiful north beach right next to the site (south beach also only a few minutes away). You have to be prepared to share the beach with seals and gray seals. But there is enough space. OK, you camp... in the middle of the "flight path" of the Heligoland "airport". But at least you don't sleep the whole day away. And the air traffic is certainly an attraction for children. The facilities on the pitch: simple, but almost everything you need is there. The sanitary facilities are a bit old but always clean and in good working order!!! Restaurants on the airfield or on the south beach are easily accessible and offer good food at fair prices (e.g. breakfast buffet in the airfield restaurant). In addition to the nature experience of the dune, the main island (accessible every hour (sometimes every half hour) by dune ferry) also offers many attractions: good restaurants, idyllic pubs, lots of nature, boat trips, bunker tours, bowling alley, mini golf, swimming pool, duty-free shopping, etc. A little tip: if you arrive by boat with a lot of camping luggage, you can use the well-organized luggage service on Heligoland. Simply ask the staff at the electric trolleys at the jetty / landing stage.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Heinz Q.May 2011Super campsite, full of nature. No cars/motorhomes. Mackerel, oysters, sand and dunes galore. Only the seadogs are sometimes a bit noisy. Beautiful north and south beach, always bathing water available. Restaurant and kiosk on site. The dune crew, especially the groundsman, are super nice.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
