Well located campsite
Well located site, Lourmarin is within easy walking distance. The swimming pool is situated in such a way that you can't hear the children screaming happily on the pitches.
Sanitary facilities are tight. The toilet seats were cleaned automatically, but they were always soaking wet afterwards.
Bread and baguettes are baked on site, very tasty.

Surge damage
During our stay at the campsite, Les Hautes Prairies, on May 12, 2024, we had major overvoltage damage to our motorhome and instead of 230 V we got 430 V and many electrical consumers were destroyed as a result. Our damage amounted to approx. 4500 EUR plus work and hassle. We were not the only ones....
The campsite reported a claim to its insurance company, but the insurance company ignored all claims from foreign claimants despite the claim number.
There is also no response to letters from French lawyers.
I would have liked the campsite to pay for the damage it has caused and to claim the money back from its insurance company.
So anyone who suffers damage on this campsite, and that can be many things for families with children, will only get their costs reimbursed years later, if at all.
We even had to pay for the week we waited for spare parts so that we could continue our trip. At first we were told "we would not incur any costs".
I cannot recommend this campsite due to the lack of liability (duty of care) towards its guests.
The campsite also doesn't seem to be interested in finding a solution, otherwise it would stand up for its guests with its insurance company.

Friendly, quiet place in beautiful surroundings
We were there as a couple with dog and caravan at the end of Sept./beginning of Oct. until closing time and got a nice, very large pitch under pine trees with water/waste water close to the pitch and a view of the countryside on the edge of the Luberon without any problems. However, large parts of the... site near the road are smaller (hedges) and have little shade. Unfortunately, many rental bungalows blocking large parts of the shady area. Very well-kept site, sanitary facilities adequate for low season, possibly not in high season. Staff very friendly, bread supply intact until the very last day, but restaurant closed. Swimming pool still open. Very dog-friendly and wonderful surroundings for dog walking. Absolute peace and quiet at night. To Lourmarin 3 minutes by car, also doable on foot or by bike. Conclusion: highly recommended

We were there with a caravan. Camping has 3 stars, but deserves 4 stars. The sanitary facilities at the reception are new and finished, the sanitary facilities in the lower area have also been renovated and only a small part was not yet finished. The team at the campsite is made up of young people who... are extremely friendly and helpful, they all speak English and the concerns of their guests are very important to them. As far as the cleanliness of the campsite and the sanitary facilities is concerned, you constantly saw someone cleaning, preparing, repairing, installing, etc. The really large swimming pool was a cool oasis after our excursions as it was 38 degrees at the time. The restaurant at the campsite is highly recommended. The menu is small, but the quality of the food and the value for money were very good. There is a very small store in reception and you can order pastries there. The only drawback was the unpaved road at the campsite, which often led to clouds of dust, as drivers unfortunately did not stick to the 10km limit (we asked reception to have the road paved). The price-performance ratio of the entire campsite was also very good - especially with the ACSI Card (in June EUR 17.00 incl. 10A(!) electricity). If we are ever in this area again, we will spend our vacation at this campsite again.

Recommendable
Quiet, shady pitch. Simple, clean sanitary facilities. Approx. 1 km on foot to Lourmarin. Good starting point for tours in the Luberon.

Well-kept site on the edge of Lourmarin, one of the most beautiful places in the Luberon. Parceled, shady pitches. Very nice, large swimming pool. W-Lan free of charge. Well suited for excursions in the Luberon.
