- Jürgen L.May 2023ПозитивниFriendly reception, easy booking, large pitch, great surroundings. Sanitary :ok. A few drawbacks (toilet cubicles may cause problems for heavy people)НегативиNo gender segregation in the sanitary facilitiesTopWe registered from the road. Booking was no problem. Multilingual reception, large pitch. Sanitary: clean. Disadvantage: no gender separation in the sanitary facilities. Swimming pool only from 1.6. was ok for us. Superb location. Close to the highway, yet very quiet in a natural area.
We would love... to come back.
ACSI accepted.
A very nice place.
You should provide your own drinks etc. Sale probably deliberately kept very expensive. Shopping facilities nearby.Автоматично преведено. - Edgar G.August 2019Helpfulness, friendliness and cleanlinessDuring our short break, we met Manuela and Martin, who were our neighbors. As we discovered, they were both blind and owned two Labrador dogs, Tes and Prio, who were their faithful companions. On the day of our wedding, we invited all four of them for a drink and then had a barbecue, a meal and a lot... of laughs together. It was a very nice evening. We found out from them that they had arrived by train and that there was no cab driver at the station willing to take them to the campsite. Without further ado, they saw a car belonging to the Belfort gendarmerie and asked if they could call a cab. But the gendarmes told them to get in and drove all four of them to the "Camping de l'Étang des Forges" campsite. Thanks to their guides, they found their way around the campsite very well. On the day of departure, the question of finding a cab driver to take them to Belfort station arose again. But there was no response. The manager of the campsite then offered to drive them to the station. We would like to thank the manager of the campsite for this. So on the day of their departure, we went to the campsite reception together and said a very warm goodbye to all four of them. We hope to see them again at this campsite, which is so friendly, helpful and hospitable. Once again, many thanks to the manager and the staff of the "Camping de l'Étang des Forges" for their helpfulness and hospitality. We would also like to thank the cleaning staff for the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. At this point, many greetings to Manuela, Martin and the dogs Prio and Tes. We will be back. - Harald B.June 2019ПозитивниClean, extremely friendly, very nice.НегативиNo food supply at all, not even baguettesTwo nights were not enoughWe were here from Whit Saturday to Whit Monday, we would have liked to stay longer, but our travel plans didn't allow it. Luckily we had made a reservation, as the Student Music Festival with 3,000 musicians on 15 open-air stages meant that the city wasn't the only place that was fully booked. But, oh... wonder of wonders, there was always a place for new arrivals. All the staff at the site were extremely friendly and helpful, no matter how stupid or sometimes impertinent the questions were. The surroundings and the city are worth seeing, not just the lion and the citadel. The lake bordering the site is ideal for fishing, hiking or jogging, and bikes of all kinds can be hired on site. Due to the complete overcrowding with sometimes 6 - 8 tents on one pitch (which didn't bother anyone in any way), I won't comment on the sanitary facilities. The site was otherwise very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately there is no food supply. We will still come back if there is no hustle and bustle.Автоматично преведено.

- Andrea B.June 2017ПозитивниPool Close to the highway Nice CleanНегативиNoneEvery year againWe regularly stay at this campsite when we are passing through. Clean, friendly, nice. Everything is perfect. The pool is super nice. The town is very nice, lots of excursion options. We will be back!Автоматично преведено.
- Steffen R.May 2017ПозитивниGreen, beautifully situated in the village, bakery nearby.НегативиToilets and showers under one roof.Beautifully situated in AlsaceWe were only there for one night, but enjoyed our stay. Very friendly welcome (in German), very green site, large pitches, well-kept overall impression. The only drawback was that the toilets are not separated from the showers and flushing facilities in terms of smell.Автоматично преведено.
- Gabriele W.May 2017Позитивни- level pitches - QuietVisit to the Lion of BelfortWe used this site as a stopover on our trip to the south of France. The site is beautifully situated in the countryside next to a lake, most of which you don't have a view of, but which is ideal for a nice walk. The old town of Belfort with its fortress and imposing stone lion is well worth a visit.Автоматично преведено.
- Andreas und Petra S.May 201720 minutes walk to the old town of BelfortWell-frequented campsite with an estimated 100 pitches on the banks of L'Etan des Forges. However, there is not much of a view of the lake. Very friendly welcome, even in German. Unfortunately no free choice of pitch, the pitches were allocated. This may have had something to do with the fact that we... arrived here on Ascension Day (end of May) and the crowds were enormous. Barbecues are permitted. The sanitary facilities were often rated with 4 stars. I can't understand that. The toilet bowls were designed for use with toilet seats, but no seats are fitted. (The fact that this type of use is not uncommon in France does not make it any better for me). You will look in vain for coat hooks in the narrow cubicles. There are sockets at the washbasins, but these do not work if you plug in a hairdryer. Instead, there are two low-power hotel hairdryers in the anteroom. There is no baguette service, but there is a small supermarket outside the campsite, which is of course closed on Sundays and public holidays. A large dog (German shepherd type) runs around freely in the reception area, which is peaceful but causes constant problems for other dog owners who have their dogs on a lead. At the end of May we paid 20 euros for a mobile home with two people including electricity, plus 2 euros for our two dogs.Автоматично преведено.
- Pascal S.April 2017Позитивни- flat terrain - close to town - quiet - heated sanitary buildingClose to the city and yet quietEasily accessible and signposted campsite. Sufficiently large and level pitches. Simple, good campsite, with connection to the local cycle network. The town is easy to reach on foot or by bike. Bakeries and cheese dairy in the immediate vicinity.Автоматично преведено.
- Torben H.August 2016ПозитивниBelfort can be reached quickly by bike, as can bathing lakes and fishing lakes. Beautifully landscaped large pitches.НегативиNoneMy oasis of well-beingWhether just passing through or for a long weekend. This campsite is always worth a visit. We feel very much at home here.Автоматично преведено.
- Bodil P.July 2015ПозитивниLocated not far from the highway. A good transit location where you can stay for a few days Large plotsНегативиWifi only works at the receptionCheap and good small spaceClose to the city and close to beautiful nature, with beautiful new hiking trails. Large plots. In the evening, the site overlooks an illuminated castle, which is worth a visit in daylightАвтоматично преведено.
- Helmut M.July 2014ПозитивниYou can walk to the center, even if it takes a long time.НегативиThere was no bus from C-Pl.A summer weekend in BelfortThen, of course, the pitch is almost fully booked during the vacation season. Nevertheless, it is big enough to avoid all the neighbors. Often used as a transit site. Too bad, because the town of Belfort is worth a visit, including the fortress.Автоматично преведено.
- Robert H.July 2014Super new pool!We used the campsite twice just for overnight stays on our way south and back. Quiet, super new pool, nice surroundings for an evening walk around the lake. Beautiful centre and Belfort fortress. Toilets and showers could do with a refurb but they are clean.Автоматично преведено.
- Achim S.April 2014ПозитивниLarge pitches, everything very clean and tidy.НегативиIt's a shame that you can only see the lake from some of the pitches. And sanitary facilities for men and women in 1 room - well, France.Great for overnight stays, good place to explore the surrounding area in summerBeautifully laid out campsite on a small lake, which is not directly accessible (wire mesh fence) - which is not visible in the owner's photo. The fence makes sense, however, as the circular path around the lake is eagerly used by joggers and dog walkers - and swimming is not allowed here anyway. Access... to the lake only via the main entrance. A new swimming pool has been completed, but was not yet in use at the end of April 2014. 90 pitches, all quite large. The sanitary facilities are okay, toilets with toilet seats and toilet paper, but for ladies and gentlemen in one room - at least with instructions as to who should preferably use the cubicles, including the showers and individual wash cubicles. In the low season, the middle cubicle is closed as a "distance". A small supermarket is open from June, but there is also a small LM store in front of the exit of the CP, also for baguettes. Internet is possible, actually 10 minutes free, but was already gone after 1 minute. 30 minutes cost €3, 120 minutes €8, which only a few people are likely to use. Reception is open daily until 10 pm, so late arrivals are possible.Автоматично преведено.
- Robert J.August 2013The campsite is located on the outskirts of the town of Belfort at the foot of a large pond (swimming prohibited) which in turn lies below a fortress. The footpath around the pond is used by locals for sports. Overall, the site can be rated as quiet and the pitches are sufficiently sized but not always... parceled out. The sanitary facilities are simple and sufficiently clean, and the "service area" on the site only offers ready meals, e.g. pizza, and a small range of groceries, apart from the possibility of ordering fresh baked goods. There is no restaurant in the immediate vicinity.the staff are German-speaking and very friendly.as we only used the site for an overnight stay, we can't say any more about it.Автоматично преведено.
- Wolfram S.July 2013
- René R.June 2012The site is easily accessible from the highway and very quietly located on a small lake (separated from the shore by a high hedge). The reception is very friendly. The site is grouped by hedges, the parcelling of the somewhat hilly grass pitches is partly unclear. The sanitary facilities are clean and... fairly new. Only individual washing cubicles, but no real separation between male and female. The temperature of the showers cannot be regulated. A small store and a bakery outside the square within a 5 min. walk. The old town is about 20 minutes on foot.Автоматично преведено.
