The staff is very friendly (the tip with the Lampugnano parking lot in Milan was great)
For those who need it: there is a pool.
In the evening it was quite loud from the entertainment area.
The taps are labeled non-drinkable/drinkable. But I wouldn't rely on that.... The water came out slightly brown when flushing.
The showers are worn out.
The grass between the pitches could be cleaned again. Access via gravel road, best to use the supermarket when turning off.Automatski prevedeno. - Zelter X.mart 2016PozitivnoLarge pitches, some directly on the lake, friendly staff.NegativnoNoisy, uncomfortable sanitary facilities, car or bicycle required for eating out or sightseeing.A turbulent idyllThe campsite is largely occupied by Italian permanent campers. There is an extra area for mobile campers that borders directly on the sunbathing lawn by the lake. The pitches are large and shady, some of them right by the water. There are only a few pitches that are suitable for tents. Most of them are... covered with coarse gravel. The campsite is located on the outskirts of Angera; you need a car or bicycle to get to the town and the harbor (-> passenger boats). From the campsite you have a direct view of Arona on the opposite shore. Unfortunately, the passing trains also echo from there and the site is often overflown by low-flying airplanes. On the Easter weekend, we also had a taste of the high season: during the day, the entire campsite was filled with entertainment, in the evening, Italian youth groups bawled on the sunbathing lawn, the disco belonging to the campsite played loud bass until dawn ... No, the campsite is not for those seeking peace and quiet! I don't know what it's like in the summer months, but at Easter the pebble beach was littered with garbage. After doing some research here, I chose the campsite mainly because of the "upmarket Italian sanitary facilities", which I can in no way confirm. The sanitary facilities are unheated, hot water only in certain places, toilets without toilet seats, some of them very outdated, dusty, full of cobwebs including spiders in the showers, ... really no trace of "upmarket". We tried the restaurant on site once and found the food really inedible. We had swordfish that simply tasted burnt. On a positive note, the staff were really friendly!Automatski prevedeno.
- Gela D.juli 2013were there with the caravan during the main season. the pitches are large and shady for Italian campsites. The sanitary buildings are clean and the toilets are of a high Italian standard. standard. The showers with self-adjustable hot water are free of charge and the lake and beach are just great. Clear... water, pebble beach and a large sunbathing area in front of it. We met lots of nice people (D, CH, NL, I) who were in a good mood. The permanent campers are in a separate area and mostly older, there were lots of grandparents with bambini who thought our dog was great, we'd love to come back here, it's not as crowded as on the other shore.Automatski prevedeno.
- Steve T.august 2011Great location on the shore of Lake Maggiore with good-sized, clean pitches. Well-priced too. Sadly it's a bit of a nightmare with noise in the evenings due to loud entertainment outside the restaurant and lots of uncontrolled "youths" running and shouting around the site until 2:00am.
- Diana R.juli 2011The site is beautifully situated, shaded by trees, with direct access to the lake. The sanitary facilities leave a lot to be desired in terms of equipment and above all cleanliness. The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. The evening events, where the time of night does not matter, are extremely... loud and therefore annoying. There is also a lack of security staff to put a stop to noisy campers at night and there is a store on site, but it is never open.Automatski prevedeno.
- Gruber D.juni 2011The campsite is located directly on the lake, has a large sunbathing lawn and its own pool and restaurant. The toilets are of a high "Italian standard". As there is no store, the supermarket at the campsite entrance should be used.Automatski prevedeno.
