"Beautiful place at the harbor - We were here in the low season, so not everything was available. The pitches are ok so far, but could be leveled. The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly and ok, no complaints. The reception was friendly and helpful. We would love to come back 👍

"Beautiful family place - From this site, both the D-day beaches and Cherbourg can be reached by car in a reasonable time. The site offers plenty of entertainment for children (pool, bouncy castle, etc.). Most of the pitches are a good size. Everything is very clean. Toilet seats, toilet paper and soap available. If the campsite is well occupied (which was the case for us), there are definitely not enough toilets => with 2 normal toilets, a children's toilet and 1 disabled toilet, you have to expect to queue regularly! And if you want/need to go out at night, you will find the open-air facilities in total darkness - not even a light comes on when you enter the toilet - no chance without a flashlight! There are plenty of showers and washbasins. However, the places for washing dishes are very cramped and should also be increased in quantity. The facility is very clean and despite the negative points is recommendable.

"Great campsite for longer stays - Flat terrain, close to the beach, parceled out and separated by hedges, with heated swimming pool. Close to the village. When registering, you were informed about places of interest and given maps. Bread on request. W-Lan free for 30 minutes, otherwise 3 euros per day. Cell phone reception is good, so better use cell phone as a hotspot. Sanitary not separated, heated and clean. Everything is well maintained and the pitch dries well even after heavy rain. Separate motorhome pitch outside the normal campsite with use of all facilities.

"Very neat and clean - This is the 3rd time I've stayed at this site, albeit only for one night (ferry to or from Cherbourg), but I always look forward to stopping here again. Nice walks, good shopping facilities nearby. The facilities leave nothing to be desired. A small mobile home colony adjoins the tourist section, which in turn has a very well-kept pitch. Swimming pool with sun loungers and a restaurant are open in season (please ask!). W-Lan and electricity for small consumers quite expensive. Otherwise

"Nice place for the vacations - Very friendly reception, uncomplicated booking. We really enjoyed our vacation there, although it was a bit noisy and lively at times, especially in the evenings, due to the vacations. Plots large enough for tents and camper vans, but you may have to maneuver a bit for larger caravans or motorhomes.

"Class - This SP is great. Clean, friendly staff, great scenery, opportunities for hiking and cycling etc. You can also stay here for a longer period of time. If you want to explore the surrounding area, this is the place for you. Even Cherbourg is not far away by car. We will be back here again.

Set 200 metres from the sea and, La Gallouette is a peaceful and colourfully flowered site in the Val de Saire area known for its oysters and mussels, and next to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Tatihou and Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. Relaxing activities are available for all the family in high season: a heated pool, a playground, a kids' club, a multisports court and a pétanque court. Evening entertainment is also available during this time.
