"very good campsite - Great campsite, quiet, clean sanitary facilities. We can sort things out here. Friendly managers. There are free-range chickens that invite themselves to breakfast, a rabbit that comes by from time to time... a small grocery store selling basic necessities and local products. You can also enjoy an ice cream, a beer or a local wine. Daily entertainment for young and old. Located 10 min from Gaillac and 15 min from Albi, and 30 min from Cordes sur ciel... a superb region to boot!

" - Excellent welcome for this family campsite...impeccable cleanliness, very comfortable mobile homes with air conditioning, always available for small services and information, a very pleasant swimming pool, games for 2-16 year olds; very nice activities (musical awakening for children, bar, concerts...) and the crêpes were good; a very good vacation; we'll be back with great pleasure.

" - A very warm welcome from the owners, the campsite is very well maintained and very clean at all times of day, there are plenty of games for the children, the swimming pool is a little small when the campsite is full. I found the pitches a little small (my caravan is 6 meters long) but very well marked out with a hedge and plenty of shade. To sum up, this is a campsite I'd like to find more often, and in my eyes it will remain a benchmark. If you're looking for a quiet campsite with a family atmosphere, this is the ideal campsite.

" - We were very disappointed by this campsite for several reasons. Firstly, the very unpleasant welcome, the gloomy and heavy atmosphere in the campsite because some people live there all year round, the breakfasts booked the day before were not supplied, and the answer "I don't have the time" was unacceptable. Secondly, you had to go to bed at 11 p.m. or you'd be kicked out of the campsite in the middle of the night (1 a.m.), and to end the nightmare, you had to say goodbye, but there was no reply, so we didn't recommend the campsite (incapable and detestable staff). As far as the sanitary facilities were concerned, hygiene was not up to scratch (see spider webs), shower floors needed to be reworked, and use of the showers was very limited due to the fact that we had to keep pressing the presto button. Boulodrome non-existent, barbecue broken and therefore unusable, misleading advertising on the website.

Profil

Les Pommiers d'Aiguelèze campsite is a cosy family campsite in the Tarn department, about 20 kilometres west of the centuries-old city of Albi. From your shady campsite, it takes just five minutes to walk to the Tarn River, which you …can cross by boat or canoe. The well-kept campsite has more than 50 shady pitches. These pitches are mostly in the shade of shrubs and trees and offer clear boundaries and privacy. The newer part of the campsite is more open: the planting is still relatively young, so this part is sunnier. With about thirty rental units, the campsite Les Pommiers d'Aiguelèze is relatively small. The Tarn is only a few hundred metres away on foot. The river, which gave the department its name, winds its way from Albi along the campsite towards Gaillac. Near the campsite, there is a small harbour from which you can take a boat, canoe or pedal boat out onto the wide river. The river is also suitable for various water sports. You can also enjoy the water on site. The swimming pool is located on the edge of the campsite, behind the restaurant with terrace. You can jump into the water and swim. Colourful bistro chairs under the trees, local wine on the table: the campsite is a wonderful place to sit on the terrace and enjoy the balmy summer evenings. On Sundays, you can even have dinner with the owners at a very reasonable price.
