"Camping in the bouldering mecca - For the price, you can spend a few days here in the bouldering mecca! Don't forget your bike, as the area around Fontainbleau has a lot to offer, but only the bakery is within walking distance ... 😁 However, the classic areas are a little further away.

"Not recommended - The location of the campsite is very good, unfortunately the sanitary facilities are very old and appear unkempt. The ground is very soft when it rains. Not all SPs have electricity. Unfortunately, the place doesn't offer much either. If you are passing through, ok, otherwise keep driving.

"Camping with boulderers - I stayed for just under two weeks in mid-April (with a small caravan) and found idyllic pitches with electricity and super committed staff. The site is well-kept, but you have to be aware that it's a French standard and the guests are primarily nature-loving sports enthusiasts... I will gladly come back!

Profil

Ideally located on the banks of the river and just 200 metres from the medieval village of Grez-sur-Loing with its sites and shops, this campsite is the perfect stopping point if you are travelling from north to south, just before …or after a visit to Paris. The French capital is only 1 hour and 20 minutes away by car. We have a range of spacious pitches, either marked out or else in the ‘bivouac’ area so you get a really natural feel! Our campsite has 133 pitches in an area of 7 hectares, set amidst grassy fields, attractive woodland and a pond for fishing. You will find yourself only 10 minutes from Fontainebleau, a popular holiday spot that is renowned for its famous chateau, forest and bouldering sites. Many boulderers the world over come to train on its rocks. Numerous other activities are on offer nearby, ranging from rock climbing to walking, bike rides and horseback riding in the majestic Fontainebleau forest!
