Beautifully situated, noisy at night
As campers can arrive all night without restriction and set up their tent/camper in the middle of the night, we are always woken up at night. A great pity, as the simple and beautifully situated campsite is otherwise ideal for hiking, biking and excursions to the beautiful wild coast. Unfortunately, the noise pollution at night (every night!) is no longer acceptable for us.

Camping with parking lot flair
The campsite is located on a slight slope to the east of La Port de la Selva and is divided like a parking lot. No space was wasted. In the HS, the camper vans and caravans are lined up next to each other like sardines because the pitches are not exactly large. No flowers, no hedges, no walls, no seating.... Shade provided by numerous trees, but these are in the way with a normal camper van due to their low height. The supermarket and restaurant were closed in September, so there was no desire to go there - although the shelves were still full. Sanitary facilities mostly outdated and very cramped; however, there is a sanitary section to the left of the playground with 4 new showers and 2 new toilets. Prices in the low season are clearly too high for what is on offer (HS: 2 pers + tent/WoWa + car/WoMo then for 39 EUR!); incomprehensible price breakdown: pitches between sanitary facilities and the sea cost 29 EUR in the NS; pitches between reception and sanitary facilities cost 26 EUR in the NS - with otherwise identical size and facilities ... No individual prices but billing as a combined price: 2 pers + tent/caravan + car/camper; electricity 6 EUR/day. First row at the campsite is blocked by permanent campers - so no sea view; CP is separated from the sea by a fence with a small door and a public footpath; pebble beach; you can walk to Port de la Selva on a lighted footpath, there are some restaurants.

Very hard-working crew; good + inexpensive food in the restaurant; beautiful location directly by the sea, clean water; no rules regarding the volume of TV, radio, people noise during the day, so rather noisy place; unacceptably small caravan pitches with little shade in some places; exceptionally high price, so poor value for money;
