first destination of our northern tour
The renovation of the sanitary facilities mentioned in the comments is taking place. Unfortunately, this is still under construction. The existing toilet/shower etc. is used by guests as well as permanent campers and staff. Unfortunately there is no cleaning etc.

The place has enormous potential, unfortunately this fails due to lack of money. What a pity...

Nature connected campsite animal and child friendly place very nice and friendly owner a lot of peace. Toilets were where we were always clean large places, the men's toilet is in the new reconstruction and at the moment the kiosk is closed for renovation.

We would be happy to come back any time and she has an event planned for the end of August

Littered, pictures not up to date
We are traveling by bike and tent. The pictures and description were promising. We should have been suspicious as it was not possible to contact us by phone.
After driving 70 km in the rain, we arrived here at around 5.30 pm and couldn't believe our eyes. Nobody there, the house was pretty neglected.... The terrace and the area in front of it were littered with broken furniture, cardboard-covered wheelbarrows and other garbage.
The greenery on the square had been mowed and there were various pavilions with seating and cushions. Unfortunately, the cushions were lying around wildly and were exposed to the weather, i.e. wet. There was also garbage under some of the pavilions.
We were wondering where we could spend the night when a nice gentleman came up to us and asked about our request.
He briefly explained that we needed to charge the batteries.
He showed us the sanitary facilities, men had to go with the ladies. One toilet would work there, that should be enough. We had to decide for ourselves whether we wanted to use the showers (open in a row). Overflowing waste garbage cans, defective cistern (broken flush button).
We chose a pitch near a power distribution point. No power, so to the next one. Tent set up and survived the "singing contest" between the taps (2 hours was a bit long).
The operator came late in the evening. She was nice, but unfortunately that didn't help with the state of the sanitary facilities and pitch.
At 2 a.m. on the dot, the roosters had slept in and started up again.
Too bad about the place. You can only imagine how beautiful it once was ... and the published pictures seem to be from that time. Unfortunately, they have nothing in common with reality at the moment.

Natural campsite
A campsite close to the A7 autobahn. The surroundings are very natural and on the campsite there are rabbits, ducks, goose walking around.
In fact the camping is just a field with woodlands and a small river. Beautiful!
The sanitary facilities are being rebuild, the facilities in use were old. We chose to pee in the woods, enough hidden places to do that. We also saw other campers chosing this option :-)

Very nice campsite with a great meadow. Directly in the forest. Lots of animals (chickens, squirrels) and a playground for children.

The sanitary facilities are currently being renovated. Considering that the owner does a lot of things on her own.
Super quiet campsite with a very nice operator
I didn't find the campsite properly at first, but simply drove to the coordinates with Komoot. The campsite is in the forest on a country road with little traffic but directly on the cycle path. The owner is so nice and accommodating. She still has lots of ideas, but it may take a little longer to implement them. But you are warmly welcomed and can have a carefree time.

You are greeted by the friendly owner as soon as you arrive, who lets you freely choose a pitch (not parceled out).
Everything is simple and uncomplicated.
However, you are woken up quite early by an annoying rooster.

Noises from the highway (A7) can only be heard quietly, the forest birds are much louder, but quiet at night. You have to get a key for the showers, hand it in afterwards and you can only use it if the groundsman can be found. I didn't find any facilities for caravans. A highlight for some: the 2 talking parrots at the entrance to the building, which did confuse me at times.
