"Super campsite very nice operator - We have been traveling to Denmark for years and despite other destinations we are always drawn back to Hedebo Camping. We are always greeted very personally and always get a great pitch with our motorhome even though we never book. The sanitary facilities are cleaned often and well. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is plenty for children to discover. The free swimming pool is also great for splashing around. The playgrounds and bouncy castles are great places to make friends. Hedebo Camping is well worth a visit. The operators speak very good German.

"Quite good space but unhygienic - It's a site with great opportunities and there are plenty of sanitary facilities on site of a reasonable standard. However, the price is far too high for the standard.

"Great place - As we were on a round trip to Denmark, we only stayed at the campsite for three nights. We would have liked to stay longer. Even the welcome was very nice. Very clean and really cheap after the season. But even during the season it's really good value for money.

"Simply vacation - Highly recommended campsite. We will be back. There is something for all campers. Unfortunately, every vacation comes to an end and two weeks are too short anyway.

"Well-organized CP with a wide range of options - We booked a cabin and a camper van pitch there with friends. We were accommodated close to each other, very nice. Reception multilingual and always friendly. Playgrounds for all ages available, plus mini golf, table tennis, tennis and basketball court. Supermarket with sufficient assortment (incl. outdoor supplies) available. Because it is a large site, some of the paths are a little longer. But this also equalizes the crowd. The pitches are all spacious and level. Almost every pitch has a sea view. It was about 200 m from our pitch to the fine sandy Baltic Sea beach. Great. Sufficient and clean sanitary facilities. Shower facilities unfortunately only available for 5 crown coins (currency exchange machine available at reception); however, the showers always include a toilet and washbasin and are very spacious and almost suitable for a whole family. We actually had to get "cash" for this at the end of our vacation. Disadvantage Wifi: Wifi only available at the reception; however, a package can be purchased for 50 crowns (approx. 7 EUR) = 3 days or 150 crowns for a month. On-site snack bar very basic and fast food. However, there are plenty of good places to eat in the surrounding area (Saeby). There is a lovely beach walk from the campsite. The cabin booked by our friends was clean and adequately furnished and equipped. Incl. nice terrace and TV. Good excursion possibilities, Skagen approx. 50 minutes away; Frederikshavn approx. 10 minutes; Saeby approx. 5 minutes away.

Welcome to Hedebo Strand Camping One of North Jutland's most beautiful campsites directly on a child-friendly beach and a short walk along the beach promenade to the cozy and authentic Danish town Sæby. For almost 60 years, the Christensen family …has run this lovely site, located at Kattegat and with Understed Hills in the backyard. The campsite is perfect for those who want to bring a boat, fish, swim or surf, sunbathe on the beach, go for a walk with the dog, or by bike in nature or to the nearby towns. Here at the waterfront, you will find peace and quiet, or you can choose to enjoy the social life in the pool, challenge each other on the adventure golf course, have fun together on the playgrounds or get involved in one of our events. Whether you want peace and immersion in nature or an active holiday, you will find it here. Here is a cozy shop with fresh bread and pastries from the local baker, ice cream, meat for the grill, delicious wines, the city's largest selection of sweets and not least equipment for your mobile home. In our café you can enjoy delicious food and a view of the sea. Fårup Sommerland, the North Sea Oceanarium, Aalborg Airport, the ferries in Hirtshals, museums, shopping and city life in Skagen, Aalborg and Frederikshavn are nearby. Sæby is just 2 km along the beach promenade from the campsite. Choose a beach site, a large site close to our nature ground with deer and hares or a standard site near a service building.
