- Annette H.September 2022PozitivaLocation, tranquillity, CP facility, public, pool, trees, charmNegativaSnack bar and baguette service unreliable, hot water supply in the showersBouldering meeting in the forest CPStopped here in the off-season. It was a happy coincidence...
Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to choose one of the many free pitches ourselves. The individual pitches are all under tall trees. These provide shade and create a very harmonious, almost romantic picture. The roads are mostly unpaved and... the pitches are mostly quite flat and on grass and sandy ground. There is - at least in the off-season - ample space for maneuvering with a caravan and trailer. There are large boulders and erratic blocks scattered around the entire campsite.
The sanitary facilities are no longer new, but are clean. But the shower cubicles are too small. You have to bring your own toilet paper. In the lower (newer) sanitary facilities, however, the supply of hot water - even in the off-season! - is completely inadequate
The supervised pool area is divided into two parts for swimmers (up to 1.55 m) and for children (slide, paddling pool etc.), but it is closed from 12:00 to 14:00. A snack bar at the CP provides a limited selection of fast food. The posted opening hours do not correspond with reality. The same applies to the baguette service. So it's best not to rely on either...
The reception is friendly and helpful.
Overall, the place is very quiet, right in a forest. It's about 5 minutes to the next village and the next larger supermarket. So you are "far away from everything" on foot.
Overall, the campsite is very spacious. Some areas on the fenced-in site are still densely wooded. Older, sometimes even dilapidated mobile homes and caravans create a picturesque, sometimes morbid charm. Anything but clean and sterile. We like that (see above).
A large proportion of the campers on this site are boulderers. They characterize the atmosphere on the site in a very pleasant way. Even if - like us - you don't boulder yourself.
We will be back.Automaticky přeloženo. - Stefanie L.May 2019PozitivaForest, very spacious, great hiking trailsPlace in the forestThe campsite is located in the middle of the forest and is very spacious. Mostly young families with children and young adults camp here. There is a swimming pool, which was unfortunately still closed in May. Hiking trails start right outside the door and the site is ideal for bouldering. The sanitary facilities are relatively basic, but adequate. We felt very comfortable!Automaticky přeloženo.
- Heiko B.May 2016PozitivaClimbing, hiking, cycling, everything possible from the campsite. Great pool. Very large pitches.NegativaSanitary facilities get dirty very quickly in bad weather. But it's also up to the campers to clean up the dirt themselves.Top location in BleauVery good location for climbing, hiking and cycling. Simply fantastic if the weather cooperates, which unfortunately was only partly the case for us. When it rains, the sandy ground turns the pitch into a "match paradise", and that's how the sanitary facilities look. But that's Bleau. Sanitary either... old or new but simple construction. Great swimming pool, but unfortunately it was still closed. Apart from baguettes and bread for breakfast, there is nothing to buy. Supermarket in Milly-La- Foret about 3 km away. A nice little town, by the way. The surroundings are simply brilliant and everything is within easy reach of the campsite, so you often don't need a car. Fantastic bouldering areas, wonderful hiking trails and beautiful bike tours are possible. When we asked if it was possible to leave around 4 pm, we were immediately granted permission. However, we didn't use this option the next day due to the constant rain.Automaticky přeloženo.

- Michael H.May 2013We visited Camping La Musardiere over Corpus Christi 2013. The site was very busy on this long weekend, especially with climbing groups/boulderers from Germany and English families. The general noise level was therefore somewhat higher, which is probably not the case otherwise. The location of the campsite... is otherwise very quiet. The campsite is beautifully situated in a wooded area a few kilometers outside the town of Milly la Foret. You camp between the trees on an earthy, grassy surface. Due to the many trees, most of the pitches are rather shady. There is an extensive area for permanent campers at the entrance to the campsite. Rental accommodation (huts and caravans) is also available. There is no store on the campsite. However, a baker comes directly to the site several mornings a week (in season). A breakfast van and a pizza van also visit in the evening. The nearest shop is a large supermarket in Milly about 3 km away. The campsite has a swimming pool with a small pool (free use for guests), which is particularly popular with the children. The sanitary facilities are rather average. The water is warm and the showers are free. It is also clean so far. So everything is fine. Only in wet weather do parts of the site and many of the paths turn into muddy paths. This mud is then carried into the sanitary buildings and they look accordingly. As the toilets and showers are cleaned once a day, you have to be able to live with the fact that the floor is not spotlessly clean in the evening. The campsite is an ideal starting point for the many bouldering areas and hiking trails that are spread throughout the region. For nature-loving campers and climbers, this is a perfectly located campsite that is well suited to the circumstances!Automaticky přeloženo.
