- Przemyslaw C.September 2020PozitivaLocationNegativaCargo trains passing neabyAn elderly couple from PolandWe spent just one night here, on our way from Kaunas to Palanga's Sport Festival. It was in the middle of the COVID pandemic, so we were the only at the place. We could select any of several paved spaces. Toilets, showers, all in the mint condition. We had all we needed on board, so we didn't have to... go shopping. Instead, we unhooked our caravan and went to Klaipeda Port and Old District. Both well worth seeing. You can walk, or take a short drive to the seaside, which is a couple of hundred meters downhill from the campsite. Parking places near the sea charge some fees in the high season, but in Sep they were all free. And the Baltic seaside beautiful.
The only possible drawback (for some, not for us) were cargo trains hauling probably petrol running some distance away.
The staff very friendly and helpful and, what's very important, speaking fluent English language, so no communication problems ocured. - Sabine G.July 2018PozitivaPerhaps the situationNegativaLoud and narrowAccording toIt is advertised that it is quiet from 10 pm until 8 am. This is absolutely not true. On the one hand, the train with goods wagons runs about 50 m away. And then caravans are also allowed onto the site after 11 pm. Of course, they have to find their place first, settle in and then feel comfortable. How... is that supposed to be done quietly? The staff, who are otherwise very helpful, don't do anything. The site also advertises 24/7/365, so it can't be quiet after 10 pm. In the meantime, the conditions here are like a parking space. Everything is very cramped. I won't be visiting this site again.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Ralf K.June 2018PozitivaForest locationNegativaVery loud at night. Expensive.Expensive and loudRailroad line directly at the campsite. Loud train traffic every 10 minutes from 4 a.m. and that for 33 € with caravan. Not for the faint-hearted!Automaticky přeloženo.
- VYCHROŇ Z.July 2017Pozitivadobré spojení do centraNegativaželeznice v blízkosti kempuDobrý kempKemp poměrně blízko Klajpedy, stanice autobusu do centra asi 1 km. Zpáteční autobus jezdí jen do 22,30 hod., jinak taxi. Přátelský a ochotný personál, Wi-Fi pouze u recepce (stále se nepolepšili). Sociálky čisté, teplá voda i pozdě večer. Na železnici cca 200 m od kempu každou hodinu jel vlak, který příšerně houkal!! Takže v noci klid nic moc. Cena 20,-- Euro dvě osoby, obyt. auto a elektřinu.
- Heiki M.July 2017PozitivaProximity to the seaNegativaWater pressure in showers is very, very low.Suitable placeSlightly difficult parking; location in park forest. Asphalted parking spaces. Water, sewerage and electricity adjacent to parking space. Decent kitchen with dining area. Due to parking under large trees, there is little sunlight.
- Gabriela D.June 2016PozitivaBaltic Sea beach nearby, very clean placeNegativathe way to the beach is a bit longNear the Baltic Sea, nice campsite for 1 -2 daysVery large CP and everything looks very newly built, the sanitary facilities really in great condition. Plenty of pitches, small snack bar on site, a bit difficult to find the right way to the Baltic Sea, but we made it and it was very nice on the beachAutomaticky přeloženo.
- frank w.June 2016PozitivaSurroundings, beach, close to the cityNegativanot quite cheapBeautiful location, but exclusiveBeautiful location, great bike path to the city (7km), nice reception, good information material, nice places with electricity and water connection, sanitary o.k., seating for campers in the lounge with kitchen, the price of 17,50 € is unfortunately no longer correct, we have paid a proud 33, - € (car, Wowa, 2 people)Automaticky přeloženo.

- Roland B.June 2015PozitivaClose to the beach, good connection to the city, nice staff, beautiful natural place,NegativaSanitary facilities not quite in order, occasional noise from the adjacent railroad, no supply options on siteBeautiful place in the forestThis campsite was our home for two days. The access to the site was a bit of an adventure, as the trees are very sloping. But it was no problem for our 2.85 meter high camper van. In the main building at the very narrow entrance to the pitches are the reception, sanitary facilities, a kitchen and a lounge... with Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were not in particularly good condition, but were bearable. The man at reception was friendly and provided sufficient information. The same man also offers a private "guided tour" of the Curonian Spit. This is more of a cab service, there is not much information. We paid 50 euros for two people for the whole day, but it was worth it (no stress on the ferry, great car, togetherness and beautiful places). The pitches are all in a forest and well protected from the wind. Electricity, drainage and drinking water were right on the pitch. The pitches are not particularly large and are more suitable for motorhomes. The rental accommodation at the entrance area made a very nice impression. There are small paths in the forest with seating and fire pits. It all looks very lovely. Only trains pass directly by the campsite from time to time. It's a 10-minute walk to the Baltic Sea and a really beautiful sandy beach. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't good for swimming, but the sunsets were uniquely beautiful. If you want to go into town, you can get on a bus between the campsite and the beach, which gets you to Klaipeda relatively quickly. Information is available at reception. Overall, the campsite was really great. If all the sanitary facilities had been usable and a bit cleaner, it would have been 5 stars.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Werner S.June 2015PozitivaClean, sanitary area,NegativanoneNice, clean placeNice, quiet, shady place Water, electricity at the pitch Nice, clean sanitary area Friendly staff, excursions can be booked, no food supply, to the town center on the bike path approx. 10 km, to the beautiful sandy beach approx. 800 mAutomaticky přeloženo.
- Olaf T.June 2014PozitivaClsoe to the baltic sea - beach and not far away from Klaipeda.NegativaRailwayGood place at the Baltic Sea and close to KlaipedaNice clean place. Perfect rental homes - shadow places under trees to build up tents. Very clean toilettes and bath room. Kitchen + WiFi are included and available. Noisy due to the enclosed railway line with heavy trains.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Finka H.July 2012A very spacious place with good ground for tents. There is a very big toilet, tidy and clean, and a big common room with a big kitchen. The place is calm but there's a railway quite near and you can hear trains at night. Still, as it didn't bother us, we enjoyed our stay!Automaticky přeloženo.
- rima l.June 2012The campsite is in a really nice location and seemingly quiet at first sight: in the undergrowth of a forest, or rather in a forest. But the deception is dispelled when the train passes. It runs, so to speak, around half of the campsite, and quite often, moreover, it is always passing by the campsite... and giving unintentionally unheard patriotism. So for peace and quiet, a big minus, it really triggers both sleeping and relaxation. The campsite has a children's playground with swings and things like that, so your little ones will have plenty to do. Adults will have to think about it themselves. The nearest food outlet is about 3-4 km away. The roads on the campsite are narrow and you will feel like a giant when you drive in with your campervan. The campsite has 4 stars on the notice board, but I wouldn't dare to rate it that high. It's almost as far as the shop to the sea, too. As it's an undergrowth, there's no shortage of nature's wonder - mosquitoes, so make sure you have mosquito repellent.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Uwe B.June 2012New, modern CP in a forest under tall pine trees. Some of the pitches are open, so there is a bit of sun, and in summer the shade is certainly very pleasant. Approx. 900m to the relatively well-frequented large sandy beach with beach bar. Approx. 10km to Klaipeda. Pitches are paved, some of which are... tight for WWs with cars and large camper vans. However, there is plenty of choice in the low season. Awning set-up only possible to a limited extent (didn't bother us as we only extended one awning. Great: electricity, water and waste water (incl. sewage) on the pitch. Nice playground, campfire site and barbecue area. Sanitary facilities clean and toilets and showers available in sufficient numbers. Star deduction: No individual washing cubicle, washbasin without discretion zone. There are no hooks or storage facilities anywhere in the washroom. My opinion: It gives the impression that the architect has designed a CP washroom for the first time... Kitchen functionally equipped, everything available. Nice large, light-flooded lounge with coffee and drinks machine. We were on the site from Friday to Tuesday, the nearby railroad line (approx. 300m as the crow flies) hardly bothered us. But nevertheless star deduction at "quiet", because just not really quiet. A noise barrier is missing here, as the passing freight trains cause considerable noise. For us, this site was a real alternative to the only campsite in Nida on the Curonian SpitAutomaticky přeloženo.
- Daniel H.July 2011Very nice newly designed place with everything that belongs to it, sanitary very clean, the paved pitches could be a bit bigger, well visited but not overcrowded beach, sometimes the adjacent freight train line was perceived by campers as disturbing, but it did not bother us.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Christoph H.July 2011City Camping Klaipeda. You should only know that it is 9 km away from the city. The beach is only about 400m away. Beautiful location in the forest. With as so often top pitches. Electricity, water and sewage on site if you want. This is a vacation near the city. In the sun on the beach in the rain in the city. The train traffic didn't bother us. But if you're a light sleeper. Some freight trains pass by here.Automaticky přeloženo.
