Quiet and peacful agricampeggio with a perfect view over the valley. Their pool water quality is in excellent condition. it has all the things you need to enjoy the summer.

18 different pitches that are spacious enough for all the various needs. easy access when on the campsite. The hill down to the campsite is a bit steep, but it seems that all the motorhomes manages quite well.

A beautiful location is not everything
First of all, the positives: the location is outstanding. From the pitches you have a wonderful view of the cozy Tuscan countryside. The pool is also beautifully situated, with a wonderful view.
The owner gave us a friendly welcome and allocated us a pitch. The sanitary facilities take some getting used... to (shower & toilet in one room, without a partition), are old and many things are broken. In the so-called kitchen wing there are sinks & dripping taps, hot water and a washing machine that works but can only be opened by the owner using a screwdriver. The whole complex unfortunately looks very neglected in many places, as if there was not enough time to clean up and tidy up. A pity, because location alone is not everything.
The access road is a bit bumpy and steep, the sign on the corner is faded, we had overlooked it. The site is about 20 km from Florence, bus connection or bus stop about 300m on the main road. !!! Please note the bus timetable for the outward and return journey!!!

Wonderful campsite with amenities
The site is beautifully situated, but the access road is a bit strange (steep, rough gravel) - we were glad to have our four-wheel drive car to pull the caravan. Another curiosity was the owner's dog, which 1. got everywhere (caravan, under awnings, on camping furniture) - we quickly bought a cheap fence... at the DIY store and fenced off our pitch - and 2. bit our son as he rode past on his bike (luckily he was wearing thick trousers and was uninjured apart from bruises).

Simple place with a great view
The journey was adventurous over an unpaved road, which is supposed to be concreted in 2017. When we left, we didn't manage to pull the caravan up, but the friendly owner helped us with his bus. With combined forces, we managed it. It was a bit of an adventure, but the owners were super friendly. The... site is quite small, which we like. We were the only guests in the low season at the beginning of October. The reception was friendly and uncomplicated. The pitches are quite small, but that's normal in Italy. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, quite basic, but with hot water. It's best to bring your own toilet paper. The view from the pitches on the edge is great, we enjoyed the peace and quiet. There is also a well-kept small swimming pool, but the weather was too cold for us. You can buy delicious wine directly from the owner. He is also very friendly. The overall impression could be improved by renovating the sanitary facilities. If you don't have high expectations, you will be satisfied. In the village next door (approx. 1 km) there is a grocery store that sells delicious bread and sausage, and there is also a petrol station. A great starting point for excursions to Siena, Florence and San Gimigiano. The campsite also offers a bus service to Florence.

no shopping possibility! Stock up accordingly beforehand. Town approx. 5 km. General cleanliness could be better. Sanitary poor!
Nice agri-camping, but...
The Agri is beautifully situated in Chianti. From there you can explore the beautiful area very well. The owners are very friendly. Be sure to try them out: Wine and olive oil from their own production! The food is also very good, 25 euros / person plus drinks, multi-course. Highly recommended! Shortcoming:... Cleanliness could be better. The sanitary facilities are unfortunately in very poor condition. Some of the doors are rotten. Beautiful pool area with a great view of the landscape. The maintenance could also be a little better here. The access road is very stony and sometimes very rutted, steep and narrow! Oncoming traffic hardly possible. We were there with a trailer. Doable, but ... Beads of sweat guaranteed. Pitches rather small. A car or awning doesn't really fit. Fine for a few days. More for small or medium-sized camper vans or tents. Nevertheless, we would risk it again.

We went because there were such good ratings for the place on Google maps.... well... So... The unobstructed view over the countryside and the well-kept pool and the nice different pitches are great. I wouldn't feel comfortable there for longer because the sanitary facilities are old and not particularly appealing and because you can't walk well directly from the site (except on the road without a sidewalk).
