- Marcus R.June 2022PositiveNice people in the team. Mostly clean. Pitches with fresh and waste water connections available.NegativOutdated sanitary facilities. Partly rotten permanent camping pitches. Sea view pitches behind a fence directly on the road. Brackish, foul-smelling, murky lagoon water on the beach. No toilet seat and no paper in the toilets.Just like in the old days....The pitch has acquired quite a patina. High. Trees, lots of leaves and needles on the ground. The sanitary facilities look like they did 40 years ago. Cramped, outdated. Once I could hardly get out of the shower, the door was stuck and wouldn't open.
Very well rated on other platforms. I really wondered why!Automatisk oversat. - Wolfgang D.August 2019PositiveSanitary was sufficient and always clean.NegativSwimming in the lagoon was not possible for us, it was simply too dirty. There was no sign that anything had been done to the site.Where are the stars from?Stayed on the site with a caravan at the end of August 2019. Actually wanted to stay there for 3 weeks, but left after 2 days. The welcome was very cool. "Stand somewhere, but don't need to say where." With a few exceptions, the paths are only gravel. Swimming only in the pool, the water on the beach... was very dirty and the wooden bridge to the beach had seen better days. Unfortunately, the peace and quiet was not so good either, as youth groups were not necessarily considerate. The shopping facilities on the site were rather limited. We will never visit this site again.Automatisk oversat.
- Bernhard L.July 2018PositiveQuiet, shady, good price-performance ratioNegativPool only opens at 10am, whole complex looks like a relic from the 70sFlair of the pastEverything looks a bit grubby and unkempt, but it is a very clean place. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout, only in the restaurant the staff seem unfriendly and service takes a long time with 7 to 8 occupied tables. Very spacious area, lots of free spaces, few guests, but lots of mosquitoes.... Minigolf course unplayable and very unkempt. Swimming cap compulsory(!) in the (too small) pool area which only opens at 10 am. Well-stocked supermarket with average prices. Beach cafe with a great view of the lagoon. Lagoon rather unsuitable for swimming, but very clean beach and clear water with lots of crabs, fish, hermit crabs, etc. Lots of squirrels, pheasants, rabbits and cats at the CP, just like a nature park. In any case, we liked it very much, price-performance ratio ok. We would love to come back....Automatisk oversat.
- Tomáš K.August 2016PositiveBeautiful surroundings, tranquillityNegativBathingVery nice environment, sea of disappointmentWe spent a week at this campsite in a beautiful bungalow. The campsite is equipped with unique mature trees, which contributes to unprecedented comfort even in tropical temperatures. The prices are a little above expectations. The beads included a service charge in the restaurant and a charge for one... hour of wi-fi. The staff is very friendly. The disappointment for us was the sea. It is in fact not the sea, but a lagoon. The beach is sandy, but the bottom is muddy and literally full of crabs. We went swimming in Grada, which is a magnificent ancient Italian town. The overall impression of the holiday was very good.Automatisk oversat.
- Thomas S.August 2016PositiveShady pitchesNegativunfortunately everything else I have seenNo idea where the 4 stars in the ADAC camping guide come from.We chose this campsite from the 2016 ADAC camping guide and can't understand the ADAC's rating. For a price of €48.50 for 2 adults and 1 child (7 years) for one night, we expected a little more. This site had its heyday in the 80s and has remained at this standard. A large site with lots of tall old... trees. Electricity and water available at most pitches. Reception friendly and helpful, but the opening times are not kept. According to the notice, it opens at 08:00, but I was opened at 08:20. The sanitary buildings are old and still dirty even after the morning cleaning. There were still the notices with the closing times 2015. Toilet seats and toilet paper completely missing, showers and toilets small and narrow. The supermarket is getting on in years, just like the sanitary facilities, but you can get the essentials. The beach is accessible via a lockable bridge from 07:00 to 21:30, smells like an old fish factory and is not really suitable for swimming. The pizza in the restaurant is ok. (nothing more), the staff is completely overwhelmed. The waitress seemed to be afraid of people and preferred to look away, ordering a drink was almost impossible. The restaurant toilet is locked and dirty, guests have to get the key at the bar. Although a security guard is on duty at night, there is no peace and quiet. Groups of campers partying loudly late into the night. I only had a quick look at the pool and it also seems to fit in with this overall impression.Automatisk oversat.
- Achim T.May 2016PositiveSupermarket on the square with good pricesNegativThe sea is just not for swimmingWhitsun vacationWere now the 4th year in a row there was again a great vacation. Restaurant on the square new landlord tastes great. Supermarket above works is now also a Ladender. Sanitary ok. The bathing caps at the pool are outdated but not annoying.Automatisk oversat.
- Tina S.September 2015PositiveQuiet campsite with plenty of shadeNegativLagoon with lots of mud and crabs, small poolA little dated, but cleanWe had rented a mobile home from Gebetsroither, very clean, everything available, good support staff on site, public sanitary facilities somewhat outdated but clean, reception staff very friendly, pizza good, supermarket dirty and expensive.Automatisk oversat.
- Helmut R.June 2015PositiveSun .quiet large areaNegativVery very old camping place .at the ass of the world so I always said. Sch.... Sea weak staff unfriendlyIt's impossible for time to stand still here. hellimcSo we were 2 adults 1 child 7 years and had planned a short trip to Italy to the "sea" . well the sea is a joke no swimming possible ok pedal boat ride yes that goes if you do not get stuck pure luck thing and at 22h30 the beach is closed . The swimming pool: a joke bathing caps compulsory haha and no... air mattress and no ball playing in the big pool after asking the lifeguard he said that only works in the children's pool (it won't matter if the little kids or baby s get the ball ?!!?!) well and then there are no cabins at the pool ???? Well then there were maybe 5 sunbeds available. We had rented a container because the mattresses were full of yellow edges of pi... The playground was built 50 years ago and that's how it looks like, no roofing everything is burning hot, unbelievable then there is nothing to indicate where what is no signs nothing, I am surprised anyway that it has not yet been closed because no toilet paper in all wc s food well and at the beginning the one at the reception who also made the cash register in the resteraunt in the evening said you can drink the water from the tap without any problems ? since when can you drink the water in Italy ? .so I certainly wasn't there the 1st and last time that's for sure.Automatisk oversat.
- Helmut M.August 2014NegativUnfriendly Bad sea Swimming caps compulsory Mosquitoes without end No animation Mobile home poorly equippedDisappointing campsiteWere there for a week the campsite is completely at the end you can do very little. You can't get into the sea, it's very dirty and there are lots of crabs. Swimming caps are compulsory in the pool and the water is very cold. In light rain and 20 degrees outside temperature the pool is not even opened... which is very outrageous. The staff very unfriendly everything you ask too much. There are no leisure activities for free for everything you have to pay e.g. tennis or mini golf. Were not satisfied we will not visit this campsite again.Automatisk oversat.
- wolfgang s.August 2014Positive5km to grado, very nice old town.Negativdirty sea and cold poolmobile homewe stayed in a gebetsroither mobile home this year in august and can only recommend it. the time at the cp has stopped 20 years ago, the sanitary facilities are a disaster and the restaurant staff are unfriendly. in the pool it was compulsory to wear a swimming cap in the 1950s. the sea was unfortunately unclean and the beer on the beach was not cheap either at 5 euros. so apart from the mobile home it was rather solala.Automatisk oversat.
- Andrea B.August 2014PositiveIs there noOnce and never againThe sea (lagoon) is a disgusting imposition. The restaurant takes 1 hour for pizza and even longer for lasagna and pasta. The only thing that welcomes you are the mosquitoes. In the swimming pool you can only use the children's pool WITHOUT a bathing cap, the dog park was still possible.Automatisk oversat.
- Andreas K.June 2014PositiveRelaxation, cycle paths, lots of free spacesNegativSometimes too empty, satellite reception on shady pitches only possible to a limited extentIf you are looking for peace and quiet, you've come to the right place! Were here for the first time in 1987 to try out camping with a WOWA (rental). Have been back here several times with our own WOWA. Unfortunately, fewer and fewer guests! In 1986 there was still something going on: there was a self-service restaurant in the center, the market was large, there was a magazine... store in the entrance area, years later only a coffee house, now only the pizzeria (but with good quality) in the entrance area. The magazine store is integrated into the smaller store. The "secret" children's and youth center in the "Sala di giochi" has probably also been cut back in the meantime. But this thinning out also affects other campsites The sanitary facilities are in order. However, all the sanitary buildings will not be open until July. As on other campsites in Grado (e.g. Al Bosco), there are no toilet seats, perhaps a requirement of the health authorities? - I have no idea. But of course this has its advantages and disadvantages. The "sea" in the lagoon is ideal for children, the bar there is simple but nice and the view of the lagoon and Grado is very beautiful. When I read the reviews of the other Grado CP beaches, this beach is still the best! Due to the large pitch and the relatively few guests, you have a lot of freedom when choosing a pitch. I ended up there again at the beginning of June 2014. My CP where I usually like to go (Capalonga - Bibione) was completely full due to the Whitsun vacations in Germany - everything was free here! The only drawback: due to the north-south orientation of the roads, satellite reception is difficult or sometimes not possible at all. Excursions or shopping trips to Grado or Aquileia, previously only possible by car or bus, are now possible on wonderful cycle paths. Nearby, on the road that leads east past the campsite, there is a farm where you can get a very good open wine - tip 2014: The "Traminer". A quick word about the mosquitoes (midges, gnats): I had no mosquito problem at all in September 2013 and June 2014, although no spraying was carried out. Depending on the season, weather, rainfall, etc., there will certainly be problems - as there are all over the upper Adriatic. There are campsites that are sprayed every 2 days, even if there are no mosquitoes. It's just a matter of taste. Dear campers, if you are looking for rest and relaxation, this is the right place for you. If you are looking for "Italy", hustle and bustle, luxury or "German order", you have to go somewhere else, e.g. Union Lido, Cavallino ;-) Go soon, I don't know how long they can keep the place!Automatisk oversat.
- gerhard r.June 2014PositivePitches in the countryside.NegativYou have to go far out to swim.dog beach?A place like a long time agoTime stood still here, large pitches, trees and meadow, old sanitary facilities without paper but clean, store and restaurant have everything you need to live, quiet in the low season. Grado can be reached by bike.Automatisk oversat.
- Petra L.September 2013Was there once as a camping guest alone and the 2nd time as a bungalow guest with the children, but will certainly not go to this place again. Price-performance ratio is not right! - The "boss" at reception is getting more and more unfriendly every year, you always have the feeling that you are an annoying... work interruption instead of a paying guest! - Bungalow (for a whopping €760!!) is inadequately equipped, not even an oven, only 4 poorly functioning gas burners, hardly any storage space in the bathroom (with 5 paying guests!).) - On Sunday morning at 8am suddenly a noisy generator on the street in front of the bungalow and then very loud music from the beach: the annual youth camp of some confirmation group from Augsburg, with 380 (!!!!!!!!!) participants, who celebrated a baptism service on the beach, an oversized cross was set up on the campsite beach and nobody was informed about it the day before. When I asked at reception whether this volume was OK on a Sunday morning, it was approved. When I asked whether you would be thrown out if you played such loud electronic music on the beach, the answer was "yes, of course"!!! Impossible!!!!!!!!! Otherwise: beach always clean, pitch too, nice terrace with great barbecue by the bungalow. Bus connection to Grado ok, but way too far to the bus stop if you want to go out "for a glass of wine" without a car. The bikes are also not available to hire overnightAutomatisk oversat.
- Rolf L.July 2013Muddy, dirty beach and seabed, unfriendly staff, this place lives from the 150 euro deposit it demands for RESERVATION!!! At the end of July, 75% of the campsite was empty, as the vacationers flee after 24 hours and the deposit is lost. A place that is not recommendable through and through!Automatisk oversat.

- Nicole M.August 2011It was a nice vacation, but there is room for improvement. The site is very nicely situated, right by the sea in a pine forest which provides plenty of shade. The only thing to note about the sea is that it is a bay and therefore not really deep (I couldn't find a place to really swim) and therefore... the bottom is a bit muddy. Perfect for children. Our son (4 years old) really liked the shallow water and the mud with the crabs. The pitches are sufficiently large and beautiful. The sanitary facilities are constantly cleaned and are always clean. We just found it rather clumsy that they didn't provide toilet seats and toilet paper. The shower cubicles are very cramped, almost impossible with a child in the shower. The beach is beautiful and is cleaned every morning. The staff are mostly friendly. All in all it was a very nice vacation and when camping you don't have the expectations of a 5 star hotel.Automatisk oversat.
- Matze M.August 2011We had a look at the place, but then drove on. So I can't make a fully qualified statement here. What we did notice was that the campsite is in the forest, which provides plenty of shade. However, there are also a lot of mosquitoes. According to the ADAC, the sanitary facilities are said to have "predominantly... upscale facilities". That may be true in terms of the building, which doesn't seem that old. But why the heck are there no toilet seats and no toilet paper? The site is very spacious, we were on the pitch for an hour and didn't even see the pool. It's good for those seeking peace and quiet. You can choose your own pitch, we had plenty to choose from.Automatisk oversat.
- Werner B.September 2010The site made a somewhat run-down impression on me. Few sanitary facilities for the size of the site and the pitches were unkempt. Long distances to the sanitary buildings, no toilet seats, no toilet paper. Separated from the "beach" by a road and only accessible via an overpass. Located on the lagoon, the feeling for the "sea" is lost.Automatisk oversat.
- Otto K.August 2010Water quality poor or muddy! Large sanitary facilities???? and too few in relation to the size of the pitch. Long distances to the toilet Overall impression of the site: Enough space but rather unkempt!Automatisk oversat.
