"You can't enjoy your vacation here. - First of all, we have been coming to this campsite for 10 years. But it has gotten worse and worse. Nothing is being renovated or changed here. One water point for 30 campers is not possible. Huge youth camps that make noise late into the night! Poor sanitary blocks, old and unkempt. It's a long way to the beach. The road next to the campsite makes you feel like you're on the highway. Really never again here.

"beautiful place by the sea - The site is easy to reach from the highway, although the signs are a little confusing. The entrance area is spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The site has large and very small pitches. The wash houses are large and clean. The beach is beautiful, but about 20 minutes away on foot. However, there is a bike rental service and a shuttle bus. There is a pool for cooling off in between. During the day, the road running past the campsite is a bit annoying, but at night it is reasonably quiet. There is a mini market, a small bazaar, a snack bar and a restaurant. The campsite is also a good starting point for excursions to Carrara, Lucca and Pisa.

"The pitch is fine but the surroundings are not. - The pitches are small, the paths to reception, the pool and the exit are very long. The road can be heard all night. The mosquitoes were not bothered by autan or citronella. Our dog had a problem walking until he was allowed to relieve himself for the first time, the path to the dog beach through the forest resembles a garbage dump, sometimes a mud hole. The garbage dump continues on the beach, the stench was bestial. The shuttle didn't run for us, the car to the clean beach costs parking fees, the beach costs extra. We left after 2 nights. Oh well, the pizza was delicious.

"Outdated sanitary facilities - None of the campsites on this road have access to the sea. Sanitary facilities in the old Italian style. Need to be completely renovated and rebuilt. Access to the "parcel roads" difficult for larger vehicles. We used it as a stopover and it was easy to find. For us it would not be a place for a vacation.

"Good, clean campsite - The campsite is well signposted. Those arriving by motorhome or caravan should also follow the signs (through Viareggio). The division of the campsite into permanent campers and day guests makes the paths to reception, the playground and the pool a little long. However, the perfect German at reception, the free Wi-Fi, the free well-maintained pool and the free shuttle to the beach more than make up for this. TIP: A visit to the 'Grotta dei Vento' is well worth it!

"Enkel og god plads til prisen. - Gæstfrit personale der varmt modtog os på bedste italienske vis, og pladsen vinder ved sin italienske enkelthed med meget personale til rengøring, renovation og vedligehold af pladsen. El, vand og wi-fi er inkluderet i prisen. Området indbyder til aktiviteter som: Kultur, strand, natteliv, natur på cykel og til fods.

Camping Europa is situated in a national park between the sea and Lake Massaciuccoli, home to Giacomo Puccini. There is access to one of the longest public sandy beaches of the famous Versilia just through the pine forest. Camping Europa …offers comfortable stays in wooden chalets, air-conditioned mobile homes, apartments and even shady camping pitches with parking and electricity. For recreation and relaxation there are 2 swimming pools (one for children) with a solarium and whirlpool, a playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball, futsal, and bocce. There is a mini club during high season. A shuttle that takes you to the beach is included. Inside the campground we have an excellent restaurant-pizzeria, deli, cafe, bazaar, bicycle hire, communal barbecues. As well, the entire campground has Wifi internet which can be accessed by buying an account from the management office. Specific conditions for athletes, hikers, families, motorcyclists, and groups. Animals are welcome during low and mid season. Camping Europa has always been paying attention to the environment and the sustainability of its activities, therefore it has recently begun a process of improvement along with four tuscan Campsites.
