We were given a very friendly welcome and everything was explained and shown to us in peace. A very nice owner couple.
There are small playgrounds with various equipment dotted around the site....
The sanitary facilities were always clean when we were there.
There is a small saltwater pool, which was a bit cool for us.
You can eat very well in the restaurant on site, especially the pizza is great!
Unfortunately there is no bread service on the site, but you can go shopping in the town 5 minutes away.
Fishing is free.

The owners are very friendly and keen to help with activities outside their campsite. We organized the rafting for 12 people in Germany with the help of Dagmar. There is a lot to do by bike.NegativIt is a grass pitch. If it rains a lot, you should have traction mats with you.Once again very good!Great place, great food. Ambience, silence, relaxation, green grass, forest, great views ... it's actually the campsite we did not want to leave. Add great bathrooms/showers (no tokens, no additional payments), drinking water directly at the camping spot, large pool, small bathing and fishing lake, beach volleyball, small animal farm, kids playground, nice restaurant including breakfasts! and lots of voluntary activities including do-it-yourself barbeque. Great location with tons of opportunities for walk/bike/car trip. And super cool relaxed owners who treat you as a family. This is how 5* stars should look like. In other words, this campsite is designed according to the Dutch way and philosophy of camping. Like it or not... We love it! The site is located on the edge of a charming little village, 10 minutes' walk from it (3 stores!!!). The... campsite offers large, attractive pitches, all connected to the electricity grid. Overall, it's a very quiet and pleasant place to be. Two children's playgrounds on the campsite, and a third for the little ones just inside the bistro-restaurant. On-site payment in € or Czech koruna (official exchange rate). The grounds are very well maintained, and the reception is very pleasant and friendly.Automatisk oversat.- Florian K.June 2017PositiveVery friendly staff, clean heated sanitary facilities, restaurant on site, bread roll serviceNegativnoneGreat and clean place with very friendly staffWe spent four days in this great area over Corpus Christi this year - far too little time for this culturally very interesting region and for this great campsite. Clean sanitary facilities are very important to us and the campsite didn't disappoint us at all. The number of showers was always sufficient... and hot water was always available. Although it was always quite cold in the evenings, the sanitary buildings were pleasantly heated (or well insulated). We pitched our tent right next to the small pond, which was certainly ideal for fishing (unfortunately we didn't have a fishing rod etc. with us). Fresh bread rolls were also available to order in the morning. The site also has a good restaurant and the village of Chvalsiny is just a few minutes' walk away and also has a good restaurant. We were only surprised by the high price on the last day when it came to paying, as we had expected to pay much less (we paid around €40 per night. But we thought nothing of it and paid on the assumption that there was a surcharge because a medieval festival was taking place in Cesky Krumlov at the same time. However, the owners of the campsite contacted me afterwards when we were back home and apologized that they had made a mistake and got the price wrong. They also transferred the money back to me straight away, which I really appreciate. I find this honesty and friendliness really remarkable. So I hope that we will definitely return to this place in the next few years when we are in the area again.Automatisk oversat.

Attractive sanitary building with plenty of space in the showers... and toilets. Pleasant underfloor heating. High-quality toilet paper and disinfectant. There are no paper towels in the shower building and the waste garbage can is broken. There are no paper towels in the toilet building, no waste garbage can. The alleged fishing lake pictured is a murky pond. The swimming pool cannot be used because the water is cloudy as the pump is defective. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The showers cost nothing extra and provide plenty of pleasantly warm water. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.... Our dog was also not charged for. The nearest restaurant in the village is only a 5-minute walk away and offers excellent and inexpensive food. Shopping facilities also in the village.
