- daniel s.April 2023Positivebeautiful view of the sea many places with sea view sanitary also good were cleaned daily friendly staff beautiful bathing baysNegativpitches too small (no room with a caravan if an awning is erected) the electricity is plugged in or unplugged by the staff. the restaurant is not worth mentioninggood placewould come again.
the area is beautifulAutomatisk oversat. - Ernst L.September 2022PositiveVery clean toilet facilities, close to a harbor, 2 restaurants around the corner, 1 restaurant on site, nice staff, some of the pitches overlook the sea, some very spacious pitches, some with trees and shade, suitable for visiting Toulon, but only if you have something to drive (scooter or car). Has a few pitches for mobile homes over 8 meters, site is right by the sea with a small beachNegativvery far away from the next bigger places, beach is very small and not very nice, place relatively expensive (camper 2 persons approx. 36.- Euro per night)beautifully situated campsite, clean sanitary facilities, by the seaclean toilet facilities, 2 restaurants around the corner, nice staff, site itself beautiful, spacious pitches, partly shady, directly by the sea, small beach, not suitable for very large campers and caravans, the next larger town relatively far awayAutomatisk oversat.
- peter k.October 2021PositiveClean and friendlyNegativReservation also required in fallGreat campingWell located, terraced campsite, friendly staff with its own restaurant. Sufficient sanitary facilities, clean and of a good standard. Reservations are required even in October as the campsite is very busy. Medium-sized pitches with shade provided by low trees (note camper size)Automatisk oversat.
- Ivan V.May 2021PositiveShort distance to the ferry to Porquerolles and very friendly, helpful staff.NegativSanitary building no longer "up do date". Bring your own toilet paper.Ideal starting point for excursionsPerfectly located for the ferry to Porquerolles. And definitely visit this island by bike (ideally not on a touring bike, as all the gravel roads are in more or less good condition). But for the very "touristy" location, I would have liked to have seen a somewhat adapted sanitary building. Washbasin,... showers, WC. Everything in a row behind each other and women / men together. You have to bring your own toilet paper. But the cleanliness gives no cause for complaint.Automatisk oversat.
- Simone U.June 2019Great placeWe felt very comfortable. Great starting point for visiting the island. We would love to come backAutomatisk oversat.
- Klaus M.August 2018PositiveTop for divers, sanitary facilities very cleanNegativFresh water only at the sanitary, showers clean but very water-saving, no toilet paper and no urinals (would be worth considering!)Well-suited place for diversVery small and natural beach (lots of seaweed) Pitches rather small. Fresh water only at the sanitary facilities. Few shopping facilities on site.Automatisk oversat.
- Andrea S.June 2018PositiveSanitary always top Variety of beach types Spectacular coastal hiking trailNegativStore on site only for the essentials Baguettes, croissants etc. unfortunately only baked goods partly small pitchesGreat place for the low seasonWe stayed at this site in the pre-season and were very impressed: we received a friendly welcome and were able to choose from various pitches, the site was about half full, the sanitary facilities were always well maintained, fully functional and sufficient - unfortunately the cold water was at least... lukewarm.... the small store is only for the essentials, supermarket in Giens easily accessible by bike, larger supermarkets only by car water taps unfortunately not distributed around the camp, but only in the sanitary facilities coastal hiking trail around the peninsula highly recommended, good footwear and some fitness necessary: spectacular views and bays in the evening unfortunately mosquito plague beach variety: Rocky peninsula coast with great sandy bays = snorkeling paradise, on the "causeway" to the peninsula west side sand-gravel beach with wind and waves = surfer's paradise, east side finest sandy beach without wind and waves = paradise for small children Harbour with ferries to Poquerolle right next to the campAutomatisk oversat.
- Jochen O.October 2017PositiveCleanliness of the sanitary facilitiesNegativFresh water only at the entrance or in the shower houseGood, clean place near the ferry dockLarge, very clean sanitary facilities, pitches a little small. Perfect as a starting point for coastal walks and canoe trips on the sea. Even at the end of October the site was well frequentedAutomatisk oversat.
- David R.June 2017PositiveSee textNegativSee textBeautiful CPNice, quiet place at the harbor. No large sandy beaches but lovely little, very clean bays along the coastal path. Perfect for snorkeling. Friendly service. Guarded all night, with tours. Small store and nice restaurant.Automatisk oversat.
- Miriam B.August 2016PositiveQuiet, clean, family-friendly, the sea nearbyNegativFish and meat not available within walking distance.DreamlikeThis is the third time we have been drawn to this wonderful campsite. It is quiet and relaxed. If you are looking for an entertainment program and pools, you are definitely in the wrong place. If you are looking for relaxation, relatively little tourism (apart from the day tourists on the island) and... vive la france, this is the place for you. Yes, water is only available at the sanitary building, but at least there is WLAN for 15 euros for a week. It is very clean and well-kept, there is a small store for the essentials. My absolute favorite on the entire Mediterranean ❤Automatisk oversat.
- Jacques R.June 2016PositiveA nice campsite overallNegativNo freshwater tap and no wastewater disposal at the end of the campsite which means longer walks to the entranceA nice campsite, clean quiet and well maintainedThe sanitary building is modern and clean at the entrance of the campsite. Additional toilets also for handicapped people are at the end site of the camping. The store was ok and the camping restaurant also. For divers ideal as well as for hiking or biking. Sanitary rooms were sufficient and always very clean.Automatisk oversat.
- Paul S.October 2015NegativnoneHighly recommendedquiet and well-kept place - possibly a bit cramped in the high season, sanitary facilities very clean, plenty of hot water, bread service works well, beautiful walks along the nearby coast possibleAutomatisk oversat.
- Melanie und Christian R.June 2015PositiveBeach and harbor for islands nearby. Clean, spacious sanitary facilities.NegativHyeres and supermarket can only be reached by car.Well-kept good campsiteGood campsite at the tip of the peninsula. As the landing stage for the boats to the island is right on the doorstep, it is an ideal starting point for a visit to the islands. Small stone bays right next to the campsite. Large sandy beach approx. 10-15 minutes away by bike. The sanitary facilities deserve... special mention. There were two large sanitary areas in mint condition, which were cleaned and opened alternately. The water temperature in the showers could be adjusted and the water was always hot - we've seen it differently... Baguette service and small store on site. Large supermarket within driving distance. Restaurant also available, but we didn't try it. Pitches slightly on a slope with some good shade. The pitch size was sufficient for our small VW van, but we can confirm the other reviews for large camper vans. Otherwise very well maintained. Reception always very well staffed and also partly German-speaking.Automatisk oversat.
- Heidi V.September 2014PositiveVery cleanNegativNarrow and slantedideal for those who like diving, otherwise ...Very small pitches. We couldn't park our caravan crossways, only lengthways. With the awning erected, the pitch was already full. There was hardly any room for the car. There was only one water point on the whole site and it was at the entrance. It is more of a motorhome site.Automatisk oversat.
- Jörg K.October 2013Nice campsite. Some pitches a little small. (Womo 6.5m) Pitches face north-south, i.e. sun in the morning, shade in the evening or vice versa. Sanitary facilities new and very clean. Unfortunately no sea view.Automatisk oversat.
- Gafner H.September 2013A very practical feature of the peninsula is that there is always a quiet beach nearby, even in the fall when it is often windy. On the inner side there are fantastic, large sandy beaches with shallow water, on the south side beautiful bays between rocks. Very ideal for divers. Boats leave directly from the campsite to the most beautiful spots.Automatisk oversat.

- Martin U.July 2013Very clean sanitary facilities, at any time of day or night. However, you have to bring your own toilet paper - well, typically French. The pitches are large and shady. The location is brilliant for divers. But there are also plenty of opportunities for swimming. However, you have to walk a bit to the... sea. After 5-15 minutes on great shady rocky paths along the sea, you either reach a sandy beach or (and much better!) the most beautiful bays. We had a small secluded bay all to ourselves. It's best to bring bathing shoes because of the stones. An absolute insider tip for us! We paid €16 with ACSI and then €35.Automatisk oversat.
- Thomas K.June 2012A beautiful place in a direct location by the sea.since a reed belt is available only the higher places have some sea view.the staff speaks German.biggest disadvantage:No direct bathing beach available.at the existing are "no bathing" signs attached.about 150m in eastern direction (dog walkway from the... campsite la tour Fondue) there are small bays and about 300m in western direction a beautiful pebble beach at the "campsite Spiruline" (my recommendation)at this may be bathed.Automatisk oversat.
