"Zum Überwintern sehr gut geeignet - Der Campingplatz liegt direkt am Stadtrand von San Javier und ist rundherum mit einer Mauer umgeben, die vor Wind schützt. Die Anlage ist Tag und Nacht bewacht. In der Übersichtskarte ist der Platz falsch eingezeichnet, lieber den Adressen-Link klicken, da stimmt die Lage. Die Betreiber und Angestellten sind sehr freundlich. Internet kann man zu gestaffelten Preisen buchen, zB bei 15 Tagen für 1€/Tag. Die Sanitärhäuser machen eine sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Das Publikum schein in der Mehrzahl spanisch zu sein, Dauercamper sind auch da. Eine Bar und ein Restaurant sind auf dem Platz, auch im Winter geöffnet. Weitere kleine Tavernen sind direkt ausserhalb vor der Einfahrt. Hundert Meter richtung Stadt gibts eine Tankstelle, die jetzt Jan/2020 Diesel für 1,10€ und Super für 1.21€, also 40 Cent unter deutschen Preisen, verteilt. Wer zum Strand will muss 4km zurücklegen, quer durch die interessante Stadt. San Javier ist kein Touristenort, es ist sehr spanisch.

The camp site in San Javier is where you will find all the leisure and entertainment that you could need... Shopping Center, typical spanish markets, Golf Schools and Courses and splendid beaches. Events and International music shows. Everything within 2km(1,2 miles).

INDICATION Directions ...On the A7 leading to the A37 Autovia south from Alicante, about 17 miles south of Torrevieja, turn off at the MU301 exit to San Javier. Cross the roundabout and at the traffic lights in the centre of …town turn right. Very shortly after that you will arrive at a roundabout where you should simply bear right on the C-3319 Murcia road. Half a kilometre on the right you will see a blue billboard announcing CAMPING, BUNGALOWS, RESTAURANT. On the A37 north from Cartagena, turn off at the C-3319 Balsicas exit. At the immediate traffic island make a 360 degree turn and head back towards San Javier. Camping Pueblo de San Javier is just a couple of hundred metres or so on the left hand side.
