- Ador A.May 2018May makes everything newA lot happened here in the spring. The sanitary facilities have been renovated. Various fresh water taps have been installed on the pitch.Automatisk oversat.
- Kim C.July 2017PositiveVenlige med-campister/fastliggere.
- Jana G.September 2016PositiveIn the low season you usually have peace and quiet.NegativUnfriendly, dirty, rats!A better scrap yard! ! !The owner is very unfriendly! You don't get any information where the sanitary facilities, garbage bins etc. are. The sanitary facilities are only cleaned sporadically and are reminiscent of a 60s psychiatric hospital. The cooking area was permanently locked. Scrap and bulky waste piled up everywhere... on the pitch! There were even rats in the tent at night. We were charged 5 cents for about 30 seconds of hot water. There is no toilet paper, soap or paper towels!!!! EC payment is also not possible. All this is rounded off by the extreme mosquito plague in Friedrichskoog!Automatisk oversat.
- Sabine R.August 2016PositiveGood locationNegativSanitary areaTotal HardcoreNo contact person. No instruction. No reference to hot water coins. Washroom like an operating theater from the last century. No electricity at the pitch. Only good location behind the dike and only a few hundred meters to FrieKo Spitze. Not recommendable at all. For the same money there was pure luxury elsewhere!Automatisk oversat.
- Nina L.August 2016PositiveLocation Price Pitches FriendlinessNegativSanitary facilities (showers)Very satisfied!Child and dog friendly campsite. Very nice groundsman. Always ready for a nice chat and always helpful. Also with the children. The pitches are very spacious. No narrow parcelling, but free choice of pitches on a large meadow area. The location is perfect (directly behind the dyke, 900m from the town... center and beach). You only have to cross the road and you are right on the dyke. Simple (no menu) but tasty, plentiful and inexpensive food in the restaurant. The sanitary facilities are reasonably good (toilet and washbasin). Showers could be improved. Unfortunately, you always have to take your change with you (hot rinse water costs €0.05), or buy shower or wash tokens (at reception). Nevertheless, a very good price-performance ratio! A good campsite for simple people who don't need luxury and fancy frills! We would be happy to come back any time...Automatisk oversat.
- Bianka B.August 2016PositiveQuiet location. Perfect with children.NegativOld sanitary facilitiesSuper nice!I was in a rental car with my children for 14 days. The car was large, clean (apart from the spiders) and very well equipped! It was really quiet there. My children were hardly to be seen as they were in the playground or on the dyke. At times they also rode along with the groundsman on the tractor.... The groundsman is a bit dry but very helpful. Ok, the sanitary facilities take some getting used to, but they are clean. I have seen the cleaning done with a high pressure cleaner several times. The sanitary facilities are old, but as I said clean. I can really recommend the place. The price-performance ratio is also really good. 35€ for a 6 person caravan. Electricity, gas, water and tourist tax included. You have to get tokens to shower, but that's quite ok, €0.80 a token. You can shower for about 5 minutes. I will go there again.Automatisk oversat.
- Henriette R.September 2015PositiveRestNegativUnfriendliness and old sanitary buildingWell, too bad...A very nice and quiet site, but we won't be visiting again. There are two main reasons for this: 1. the above-mentioned sanitary facilities with sinks into which you have to put 5 cent pieces to get hot water for washing up. The ceiling of the showers, which are really special enough with their gas heaters... in the shower cubicle, is covered in mold. Although efforts are obviously being made to keep the facilities clean, given the age of the entire sanitary building, even the best efforts at cleanliness cannot make up for this. I recommend taking a look at the place where the chemical toilets are supposed to be emptied ;-) 2nd: The groundsman, who, in addition to all the Dithmarsch dryness we had expected, obviously also has a problem with women at the wheel of a caravan. He was always on hand, but always gave us the feeling that he was actually too stupid, well... a pity really... A new sanitary building and further training in customer friendliness for the groundsman would be recommended.Automatisk oversat.
- Norbert S.August 2014PositiveThe location and fair prices...NegativSimple infrastructure (only electricity on site)...Simple, clean and fairA simple site with no pitches and old (but well-cleaned) sanitary facilities. Some of the concrete slab tracks are in poor condition. The restaurant belonging to the site offers simple and inexpensive home cooking with a manageable selection. Bread roll service in the morning. It takes some getting used... to paying for hot water at the washbasin and sink with 5 cent coins and having to take toilet paper and soap with you when you go to the toilet. Investments have been made in a new playground with a real fishing boat. Quiet location directly behind the dyke. North Sea approx. 0.5 km away. Friedrichskoog-Hafen and Friedrichskoog-Spitze are both approx. 1 km away.Automatisk oversat.
- Pia I.July 20131. unfriendly groundsman! I have never been received so rudely and harshly. Since we had a small child with us, it was no longer possible to continue, otherwise I would never have stayed. ... 2. sanitary facilities are NOT GOOD! No toilet paper, old, moldy, mildewed. 3. waste bins not really separated from the pitch, it stinks!Automatisk oversat.

- Jörg R.June 2013I was only at the campsite for one night and unfortunately had to realize that, despite prior research and analysis of the opinions expressed (including on this website), I can NOT confirm that it was clean. Unfortunately! There was no toilet paper (which cyclists rarely have with them), nor did I find... it clean. Exposed pipes in the sanitary area with a layer of dust and various chipped paint residues lead me to believe that cleaning had not been carried out immediately beforehand. After my first visit to the sanitary facilities, I decided not to take a shower or stay for any other length of time. Even as accommodation for one night, I expect to be able to relax in peace and quiet and, above all, in a hygienic environment. I can't quite understand the annual refurbishment measures stated by the operator. The status of the 60s is absolutely correct. I would gladly pay a little more but would find a clean environment in return. However, I have to admit that the site was tidy and in good order. I found the price/performance ratio ... well... just about ok. However, I would probably have gotten the same service from a farmer (if I had asked him for permission to camp on his land) for nothing or a warm handshake. However, for the fact that the operator owns and maintains this place and apparently lives from it.... ok. However, more than one night was definitely out of the question!Automatisk oversat.

- Christine H.July 2012Very clean campsite with plenty of peace and quiet to wind down. Not for people looking for lots of action. In the village, about 3 km away, you can also buy groceries for your vacation. The Wadden Sea is not necessarily everyone's cup of tea. Very muddy. But fun...Automatisk oversat.
- Rainer H.July 2012All in all, a beautifully situated small campsite with around 120 pitches. It couldn't be any closer to the mudflats and the North Sea. You will find a lot of peace and relaxation directly "behind the dike" (50 meters). Guarded bathing beach (also nudist and separate dog beach) about 900 meters away. Couples and people looking for a "Ballermann" are out of place here.Automatisk oversat.
- Kiki s.June 2012Original 60s campsite (the music box is still in the restaurant). We got a pitch without any problems, we were allowed to choose, not parceled out. Showers with shower tokens, clean, but nothing done to them for years. Despite the low prices of the campsite for the facilities expensive, because the tourist... tax has to be paid. Mainly permanent campers.explanation to the evaluation of the sanit. Toilet paper had to be taken along, no individual washing cubicles, no hairdryer. Also pay at the sink? I went to the toilet once, then not again, I felt very uncomfortable.Automatisk oversat.Besvaret fra Camping Swienskopp August 7, 2012Hello kiki-4,
The rating that the showers are clean but then only one star is irritating, especially as work is carried out on the sanitary facilities every year. Of course, these were not built in the sixties.
:-)
The tourist tax is levied by the municipality and is only collected by the operator.... In this case, the operator does not participate in any way, as this campsite is privately owned and not a public-benefit campsite. The causality benefit/cost does not arise in this case.
Greetings
