The functional sanitary facilities were spotlessly clean. However, we found the required shower tokens and the time-limited hot water to be annoying. For the electricity connection you still need a Schuko plug and,... depending on the pitch allocation, enough cable length. Shopping facilities are available in the kiosk or in the supermarket approx. 1000 m away. The Kaiserstuhl is easy to explore by bike and Freiburg is also no problem for experienced cyclists.Automatisk oversat.- Sandra K.August 2018PositiveLocation directly on the A5, lake, size of the plot, cleanlinessNegativS.o.Close to the A5, this place is certainly worthy of a longer stayOn the way back from the south of France we spontaneously found a place. All in.o. size plot, some permanent campers, shower tokens have to be purchased for this, which unfortunately did not work for me at all for 1x shower, as communicated by the operator 😉 unfortunately no follow-up possibility in... the evening. So there I was, freshly soaped up... And there wasn't even any cold water. Showering is also regulated on the beach. It's not possible at lunchtime or later in the evening. Unfortunately, we also didn't know how to wash up warm. Well, you can do it in your camper van if necessary. The time in the toilet is also strictly regulated. After a short time, the light goes out and then you're sitting in the dark. Our conclusion: it's better to charge €2 or €3 more and have a proper shower, flush and a longer toilet session. But otherwise everything was fine. The bistro and the lake are great.Automatisk oversat.

As already mentioned, there are a lot of permanent campers, which is not necessarily a bad thing. We were there for a long weekend and the site was fully booked although I phoned a few days in advance to ask if we... needed to book. The operator told me that everything was empty and that we could get a pitch even without a reservation. We did get a pitch on the tent meadow, where we were a bit closer together. We didn't mind as we were right by the lake and had a very nice view. The site is very well maintained and everything is very clean. The only thing we didn't like were once again the coins for 10 liters of hot water for washing dishes and the shower coins. Why don't the operators just come here and add a euro to the person fee? We were supported in setting up. The sanitary facilities are friendly and clean, the kiosk has a reasonable selection, as does the snack bar. The prices are really okay, a very good price/performance ratio. And when the passenger... window was smashed the evening before our departure in France, Mr. Bär from the campsite unbureaucratically provided us with a plexiglass pane, which I attached to the foil seal of the smashed window with duct tape. Despite this mishap, we were able to drive home with the caravan without any problems. Hats off to so much service friendliness!Automatisk oversat.

Everything was very clean, large pitches and very friendly operators. We even had an Easter nest at our entrance on Easter Sunday. Thanks again to the Bär family! The weather didn't quite play along but that's nobody's fault. Fresh... bread rolls in the morning, which you can order the night before using an order slip! The kiosk offers various menus and the prices are also very reasonable. The shower tokens are a bit annoying, I would prefer to pay a flat rate. The sanitary facilities are great!
