Familiar atmosphere.NegativPrice management electricity: Charged credit was used up, but this only became apparent after the day trip. Frozen food therefore defrosted. Credit had to be topped up again (after the reception was closed - at the machine - only with cash). Because you can choose a free place in the area.
But we looked for and found a nice corner for us anyway and it turned out to be a lovely We. The site is really beautifully designed. Child-friendly... is on the program. There are small playgrounds everywhere. There's a lovely pool at the top of the hill. It's a bit chilly, but it's also the season. The sanitary facilities are modern. There is a goat enclosure and a rabbit enclosure. Bread rolls can be ordered online from the bakery and are delivered to reception. The site has a barrier to each area, as the path to the beach also runs through the site. The electricity is billed via a card with credit, as is the pool.Automatisk oversat.

That's why we chose the free area/meadow so that we could stand together. Unfortunately there were already other campers on our pre-reserved pitches.
We were in the front row towards the water/dunes. The children had a great time on the... spacious site with its many playgrounds, animals and pool. The electricity card was easy to use. But unfortunately it was not clear in advance that you had to pay extra for electricity.

The team always comes up with something, e.g. a midsummer party on the beach. The site has several playgrounds and two blobs where adults can also have fun ;-). The pitches vary in size and are suitable for most caravans. The large "Frederik" area is also suitable for very large caravans and motorhomes. We will be back! - J. K.May 2023PositiveNice place, large pitchesNegativUnfortunately nothing has been done since the campsite was taken over. Silicone joints in the showers unfortunately still moldy. At Pentecost, when the site is fully booked, the ladies' toilets on the upper level are unfortunately not all open. The kitchen area is also not particularly clean. The kettles have also seen better days. Pitches are also not particularly well maintained. If you advertise in the new video that you can see 80% of the water, you should also cut the hedges.What a pity! What a pity! What a pity!Too bad, too bad, too bad!!! We received a booking confirmation for a specific pitch, which was booked in person on site in April. We received confirmation of receipt of payment from the new operator. Unfortunately, on the date we booked, we found that the pitch was full. We were told to stand on another... pitch without any prior information. When we asked why this was the case, we got the answer that the system would do it that way and that he was allowed to do it that way. When we asked again how this could happen and told them that we wanted to go to the seat we had booked, we were told "either you take the new seat or you simply don't check in". Simply impossible treatment of guests - we don't like to be cheated.
It later turned out that the guests who had booked and paid for our pitch had only booked 3 weeks ago. And when these campers asked if they could stay on this pitch at Whitsun, the owner said "stay put. Those who have already booked the pitch for Whitsun will be accommodated somewhere else". Simply impossible how to deal with guests!!! We have never experienced this in all the years we have been coming to the campsite!!! And during this time there have been several changes of ownership!!!

It is laid out in Terssen and has a great view over the Vemming Bay.
From some pitches you can even see over to Sönderburg. The sanitary buildings are in very good condition. The upper building is relatively new.
The lower one is completely renovated. Cooking facilities... are available in both. Bathing facilities are also available. Either in the sea from a jetty or in the site's own pool on the top terrace.

We had a very nice large pitch with water and electricity (16 amp.). The bread rolls we ordered and especially the bread tasted very good. The sanitary facilities were very clean at all times and the whole site... is also very well maintained. The site operators speak very good German, are helpful and very friendly. The surrounding area offers a number of attractions (especially the town of Sonderburg), but most of them can only be reached by car. Water sports are possible on the adjacent lake. The site is very quiet and was frequented by many German campers at our time. We will definitely come back here with our motorhome and stay longer.Automatisk oversat.

It's cozy, in a great location and has everything you (we) need. You can swim there, go for a great hike along the cliffs on the Gendarmstien, cycle on Broager and Sonderburg is not far away either. The new tenants are very friendly and very helpful. Although it's not exactly small, it's very well laid out and therefore always gives a cozy and clear impression everywhere. There is always something going on for children up to the age of 12, as there are always new friends to make in the playgrounds, crabs to catch or swimming in the pool. Then definitely here!!!We got to know the place when we booked a house there. We are typical Denmark vacationers, especially because of our dog. In the summer with a caravan and in the fall with a house. It doesn't bother us at all that we live away from the hustle and bustle, on the contrary. The campsite has everything you... need. The Tychsen family are always on site, helpful and maintain this site with great love. The booking is absolutely unproblematic, you can choose your pitch and the whole facility is great. There is a large outdoor swimming pool and a very modern sanitary building at the top of the hill. We prefer the smaller, older one downstairs. What we find so nice is that you can cook in the kitchen and also use the seating right in front of it to eat. There are outside washing-up facilities, the kitchen has an oven, microwave, kettle ..... so why cook and eat in the WW. When the weather is great, you can use everything outside. Barbecue areas, playground, bouncy castle, petting zoo, table tennis, chess, fire pit ....etc. all available. Laundry is no problem, if you don't want to use a dryer you can simply use a clothes horse. The kiosk is very well stocked and not expensive. Bread and rolls can be ordered until 8.00 pm and if you forget, you go to Inge in the morning and 15 minutes later she has baked you a delicious white bread. There is no midday quiet time when you can't leave the site by car and it's not annoying if someone comes or goes during this time. All in all, this is a campsite we love and will book again anytime.
