"Nice spacious, clean and natural campground by beautiful river and beautiful nature. - It is a very nice campsite with spacious pitches in a natural environment. The pitches are spread over different levels. There are sun and shade spots and there is a nice large field with electricity and water by the river. The grounds are well maintained. The plumbing is spacious and above all clean. There is also a washer and dryer. There is also attention to the environment because you can separate your waste in different bins. In the reception you can get information about hiking and biking, buy fishing licenses and there is a store with fly-fishing equipment. The owner is also a fly-fishing guide. All in all, highly recommended!

"Nice - Unfortunately, most people are probably just passing through, so the owners are distant at first, but if you stay a few days, they are really welcoming and make an effort to keep the place tidy. The showers cost extra, but they are big enough and clean. Waste is also separated and the site is in a nice spot for fishing. Wifi is available in the reception area.

"Dutch charm in the far north - We camped here on our motorcycle tour. When we saw the meadow at the "Riverside", we knew immediately that we could get the pegs into the ground here. This is not possible at the pitches on the plateau, campers should know that. It's funny, there are notes with smileys and rules of conduct on every door, every mirror and every toilet. We hadn't seen so many notices about what you shouldn't/shouldn't do on our entire 3 1/2-week tour of Scandinavia. But the place had charm, the lady at the reception gave us some boards for the motorcycle stands. The sanitary facilities were not great, but absolutely ok. There was plenty of peace and quiet down on the meadow.

"3 words: dirty, overpriced and unfriendly - I stayed here for one night in August 2017 while passing through. Very unfriendly reception because I arrived too early. (10 am, check-in time was 2 pm, which you can't plan so precisely on such a long route). I was charged 5 euros more for this! The hot water was extra, 1 euro for a shower chip! The sanitary facilities were terrible, old, dirty, and the shower water from other people's showers ran over your feet at the sink! I do not recommend this place. I had actually planned to stay for 2 to 3 days, but I quickly decided against it.

" - A good campsite, a beautiful mountain river, they say: a great place for fishing, but I was never fed in the cafe, the nearest cafe is directly in Koppang. Koppang Camping & Cabins is situated in the province of Hedmark at about 230 kilometer from Oslo, along provincial road 30 and about 1 kilometer from Highway 3, which runs from Hamar to Elverum into the direction of Rena/Tynset. Provincial …Road 30 runs North through the centre of Koppang to Tynset and Røros an literally bridges Norway's longest river, the Glomma. Koppang Camping is located directly along the Glomma, which offers various recreational possibilities. Canoeing, fishing and swimming are among the favourites. The river Glomma is known for being a flyfisher's paradise. The quaint town of Koppang is situated 2,5 kilometers from the campsite and can easily be reached by foot, bike, or car. Koppang offers a wide variety of stores and facilities. At our campsite we offer Moose and beaver safaris, Canoe and bicycle rental, GPS hiking, guiding services for fishermen etc. Welcome at Koppang Camping! Vejbeskrivelse

From direction Oslo Take the E6 direction Hamar/Trondheim. After about 115 kms take the exit to the RV3, direction Elverum. In Elverum take RV3, direction Tynset. After ca.90 kms go right onto the RV30, direction Koppang S. After ca. 400 …meter you will find Koppang Camping on the left side of the road, just before the bridge over the Glomma. From direction Trondheim Take the E6 direction Oppdal/Oslo. After about 95 kms take the exit to the RV3, direction Tynset/Elverum. After ca.170 kms go left onto the RV30, direction Koppang S. After ca. 400 meter you will find Koppang Camping on the left side of the road, just before the bridge over the Glomma. From direction Tynset/Åkrestrømmen (via Rv 30) From Tynset/Åkrestrømmen take the RV30 direction Koppang. In Koppang Sentrum go left onto the RV30, direction Rena/Elverum. You will pass the Esso gas station. In Koppang Centrum gaat u op de kruising linksaf langs het Esso benzinestation. Follow the RV30 until you reach the bridge over the Glomma. You will find Koppang Camping direct over the bridge on the right hand side.
