Positive
The location of the campground is ideal. Not too far from a North-South route but far enough not to be bothered by it. Nature lovers and fly fishermen will have a great time here.
Negativ
The village of Koppang, a 3-minute drive or half-hour walk from the campground, does not have much to offer. There are 2 supermarkets and some other stores and a pizzeria and hotel with restaurant where you can eat a fine meal.
Nice spacious, clean and natural campground by beautiful river and beautiful nature.
It is a very nice campsite with spacious pitches in a natural environment. The pitches are spread over different levels. There are sun and shade spots and there is a nice large field with electricity and water by the river. The grounds are well maintained.
The plumbing is spacious and above all clean.... There is also a washer and dryer. There is also attention to the environment because you can separate your waste in different bins.
In the reception you can get information about hiking and biking, buy fishing licenses and there is a store with fly-fishing equipment. The owner is also a fly-fishing guide.
All in all, highly recommended!

Unfortunately, most people are probably just passing through, so the owners are distant at first, but if you stay a few days, they are really welcoming and make an effort to keep the place tidy. The showers cost extra, but they are big enough and clean. Waste is also separated and the site is in a nice spot for fishing. Wifi is available in the reception area.

The tent pegs go into the ground without bending them
Dutch charm in the far north
We camped here on our motorcycle tour. When we saw the meadow at the "Riverside", we knew immediately that we could get the pegs into the ground here. This is not possible at the pitches on the plateau, campers should know that. It's funny, there are notes with smileys and rules of conduct on every door,... every mirror and every toilet. We hadn't seen so many notices about what you shouldn't/shouldn't do on our entire 3 1/2-week tour of Scandinavia. But the place had charm, the lady at the reception gave us some boards for the motorcycle stands. The sanitary facilities were not great, but absolutely ok. There was plenty of peace and quiet down on the meadow.

Very unfriendly reception too expensive, extra costs for outside check in/out times dirty sanitary facilities
3 words: dirty, overpriced and unfriendly
I stayed here for one night in August 2017 while passing through. Very unfriendly reception because I arrived too early. (10 am, check-in time was 2 pm, which you can't plan so precisely on such a long route). I was charged 5 euros more for this! The hot water was extra, 1 euro for a shower chip! The... sanitary facilities were terrible, old, dirty, and the shower water from other people's showers ran over your feet at the sink! I do not recommend this place. I had actually planned to stay for 2 to 3 days, but I quickly decided against it.
