At check out we already noticed that we were just not going to make the check out time of 12:00 so we decided to ask for a late check out.
Answer was rock hard No, you guys should just hurry up.
So we gasped so we could just be off the place by 12:00. Unfortunately... we got stuck in the mud at the campsite, because of this we checked out at 12:10, this was reason enough not to return our deposit.

Clean site, friendly and competent service, clean site and sanitary facilities, plus the beautiful city of Aalborg within easy reach. Almost a little too well laid out for our taste, with cut-out lawn edges and - admittedly - practical wooden terraces for motorhomes, plus no trees and white gravel on the paths, it somehow feels like you're... sitting in an advertising brochure. But who wants to complain about that, it's all good. It's just not a place to spend a longer vacation, you check in and pay for everything in advance, then when you leave you drop your shower card in a letterbox and leave the site again.
Aalborg is very easy to reach by bike, through locked gates (which can be opened with the shower card) you get directly onto the cycle path that leads through the harbor into the city. The site was relatively quiet, even though people were already leaving early in the morning. However, the price for 2 adults in caravans plus electricity of 270 DKr. is not justified, especially because of the very... small number of toilets and washing facilities. I could only find 3 toilets each for F + M for the entire site. In addition, the washing facilities are integrated into these toilet cubicles, so that a toothbrush also blocks a toilet. The kitchen and shower are very good, and there are many opportunities to sit on benches if you don't have enough for yourself - or guests are coming. - Ulf W.December 2013A beautiful campsite with large pitches. The walk into town is nice (2km) and the bus connection is good. But there are strict rules. I can live with the fact that the barrier is closed from 10pm to 8am.
