- Zelter X.July 2012The campsites in Porlezza are closely lined up at the southern end of the village. La Sbianca is right in the middle, flanked by other campsites to the left and right. The main camping area is slightly away from Lake Lugano, with only four pitches directly on the lake. From the rear pitches, it is about... 150 m along a well-trodden path to the lake. The pitches for mobile campers are located in the middle of the site, which is actually set up primarily for permanent campers. There are small pitches everywhere between the wooden permanent camping facilities, and there is also a small tent meadow. The pitches are mostly shady. It is a small, tranquil site that exudes peace and quiet. The sanitary building is small, but in perfect order and clean. Shower coins are required for showering. There is also a small snack bar at the reception. The beach itself is narrow, rocky and you have to share it with hundreds of other people. The water is very shallow into the lake, so it is ideal for children (with bathing shoes). The small town can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot along the beach (note: river crossing necessary - very cold water!), where there are restaurants. Unfortunately, the peace and quiet is somewhat impaired by the International campsite next door: During our stay there was a pool party; the disco sound system with DJ - blare of course did not stop in front of this actually quiet campsite. Only cash payment possible.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
- Mašek L.August 2011A well situated campsite by Lago Lugano, quite large, lots of resident caravans, but we found a place for the motorhome. Small beach, full facilities for caravanners. Due to the lifestyle of the Italians, the campsite is noisy late into the night. Price:motorhome, two people, two dogs/day 27,5 euro.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
