- Michael S.July 2021ΘετικάThe landscape.ΑρνητικάIt's difficult to remain objective. 😐 8 garbage containers full to the brim that stink to high heaven (for weeks) Mouldering, unkempt sanitary facilities, disposal station for camping loo is adventurous. 😣wretched!!! Above ground at chest height is the filling hole in the 1000 liter slurry tank! (Ingredients clearly visible) I saw someone throwing up right next to it ;( Bulky waste corner right next door. So overall. unkempt, rotten and too expensive. Tent camp level. Not a modern campsite. Not for families and small children! Little light, bathing unfavorable . (uaaah, creepy ...)Creepy. Does not correspond to the price range.See above. Already rated ! For less fees it would be tolerable. But what is not acceptable at all is the overstocked garbage and the disgusting chemical toilet disposal containers! Hygiene in the minus range. Snack bar open from 12 with a good, tasty offer. Quiet on the whole.ΑρνητικάNo breakfast, no bread service or a small market but the nearest one is in Drognitz.Super, everything you need is thereThere were two of us, the madam and I, quiet at night except for a few disturbances by partying, polite requests and leaving.
Very friendly atmosphere in general, very clean.
Hiking goes well located directly on the Stauseerundweg you come to the Hermannfelsen in the local history museum Reitzengeschwenda... and and and.
Bathing is super flat shore area and for swimmers (leisure) about 260m wide.
Very sunny and great for relaxing and switching off (chillout mode).
The snack bar is very tasty, no oversupply but there is something for everyone, the snack bar Mike is friendly and also available for a chat.
We were totally relaxed and completely satisfied.

Man needs some tutoring in personal freedom of choice!Great nature, nice people, but also weaknessesBeautifully situated, in the middle of the Thuringian Slate Mountains, with fair prices and plenty of hiking and cycling tours in the beautiful surroundings.
The sanitary area could be refreshed (permanent flooding in the shower). Friendly reception and always ready to provide information. We were there with friends and a total of seven children aged 2 to 8 and what can I say - everything was great.... Quiet, great place right on the water, playground, clean sanitary facilities with everything you need. And the price was really reasonable (€21.50 per night for a tent and car for a family of 5). Perfect for water sports of all kinds (except surfing). Sanitary facilities (toilets, showers, washbasins) are a little older but in good order (no washing machine). Unfortunately, it was 32° on the day we arrived, so everything was a bit more difficult than usual. Of course, the dam came at just the right time. The water was clean and relatively warm, unfortunately the beach is very very bad, big stones,... Munich and not recommended without bathing shoes. The groundsman is ok, the catering is ok, unfortunately there are hardly any opportunities for children to play (except in the water).
