"Hidden pearl off the beaten track - Aamnes Camping is one of the most beautiful places we have discovered in Norway so far. Perhaps it is still relatively unknown because it is simply off the normal tourist routes. If you are looking for peace and quiet and closeness to nature, this is the place for you and the very friendly operators are happy to help with any questions. Unfortunately, the site is about 30 km off the RV17 and 30 km is not a short distance on small Norwegian roads, but then you are right by the sea, can rent boats for fishing or simply enjoy the beach, cycling, hiking. Shopping facilities can be reached by bike, but are not exactly plentiful. In the morning, the northbound and southbound lines of the Hurtigroute meet directly on the water in front of the campsite.

Ruhiger Campingplatz am Meer mit Blick auf die Fahrrinne der Hurtigroute. Schöner, ruhiger Campingplatz etwas "ab vom Schuss", daher noch ein kleiner Geheimtipp. Täglich kommt die Hurtigrute direkt am Platz vorbei, in allen Richtungen kann man wandern, zum Angeln werden …Boote vermietet und ein großer Sandstrand ist auch vorhanden. Sehr wenige einzelne Dauercamper in einem abgeschiedenen Bereich. 6 Hütten unterschiedlicher Größe und eine große Wiese direkt zum Sandstrand hin für Camper aller Art. Die Stromleitungen sind gut abgesichert. Es gibt einige Wasserhähne an den Plätzen, aber nicht an allen. Außerdem findet sich ein gut ausgestatteter Kinderspielplatz und eine praktische Fischausnehmestelle mit fließendem Wasser. In der Rezeption bekommt man Informationsmaterial über die Umgebung und Eis, außerdem helfen die sehr freundlichen Besitzer in fast jeder Angelegenheit gern weiter. Kinderspielplatz, Beachvolleyballfeld und Bootsverleih (4-10 PS oder Ruderboote) sind vorhanden. Viele Wander - und Angelmöglichkeiten vor Ort. Nahe am berühmten Svartisen-Gletscher (40km). Direkter Blick auf die Mitternachtssonne im Sommer.
