"beautiful with dog - A really nice, quiet campsite with a friendly operator. We stayed there for three weeks and never got bored, even though the weather wasn't great. Only the daily changing motorhomes disturbed the peace and quiet. The surrounding area is fantastic for hiking. There are also many excursion possibilities within a relatively short distance. There are hiking opportunities up into the mountains but also in flatter regions and everything is well signposted. Once you have walked about 500 m along the access road, you can walk your dog in all directions. The Arzbacher Hof with its regional cuisine is highly recommended. The only downside was the sanitary facilities, which were not cleaned daily. We were lucky that the site was fairly empty, but when it is full there are bound to be problems with the number of showers and toilets. In any case, this site is well worth a visit.

"Unfortunately a lot of through traffic - After changing pitches at the campsite, things got better. Before we had different neighbors every day with slamming doors or palaver until the middle of the night (cigarette smoke too). Sanitary facilities ok. Gastronomy delicious and plentiful. Hosts very nice and always helpful. Some pitches very small, others larger. Overall a small family campsite in a good location for many excursions.

"Very good campsite - We stayed at the campsite for 9 days and it was wonderful. Already on arrival we were received very friendly by Thomas. As the pitch we chose had not yet been vacated by the previous camper, we were offered a coffee to shorten the waiting time. The pitch was under a tree so we had some shade. The nearest electricity box was also not far away. In the evening we visited the Arzbacher Hof which belongs to the campsite. The menu is plentiful and I must say I have not eaten as well as there for a long time. On Tuesdays there is pork knuckle which is probably one of the best in Bavaria. For us the stay was very pleasant because the sanitary facilities were always very clean. The place is to be recommended and we will definitely come back.

"Campsite owner unfriendly - It was actually only planned to stay 1 night on this campsite, but we had a car breakdown on arrival someone from Bad Tölz was so kind and drove us the caravan there anyway. The owner looked so funny because we said it could take until Friday (we arrived on Sunday). The workshops were full. And on Tuesday she repeated that we had to leave the site by Friday at the latest. Super, great vacation! A friendly permanent camper was kind enough to drive our caravan to the Demmelhof campsite, where we were given a more than friendly welcome!!! The main focus was the Arzbacher Hof restaurant. Found it a bit rude to throw campers off the site in an emergency situation!!!

"Small and beautifully situated - Good location, between Bad Tölz and Lenggries. With outdoor pool, getting on in years but great with swimming in the Arzbach. To the campsite, sanitary, a bit unclean, 3 days no soap in the dispenser on the toilet and only superficially cleaned. Waste garbage can littered with maggots, disgusting. The place needs a loving hand to maintain. Food good and very friendly staff

Profile

Mitten in der Bergkulisse des Voralpengebirges liegt der Platz "Alpen Camping Arzbach". Die Anlage hat das ganze Jahr über geöffnet und bietet seinen Gästen durch die sehr ruhige Lage abseits des Straßenlärms die Möglichkeit eines erholsamen Urlaubs. Für die Rundumversorgung …der Gäste sorgen das platzeigene Restaurant "Arzbacher Hof" und ein Getränkeautomat. Ein "Semmelservice" liefert täglich frische Backwaren auf das Gelände. Für Langschläfer gibt es außerdem die Möglichkeit in der "Arzbacher Brez'nstube" ein kleines Frühstück und Tageszeitungen zu kaufen. Die sanitären Anlagen verfügen neben separaten Duschkabinen ebenfalls über eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Ein Schwimmbad und Tennisplätze liegen nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Das "Tölzer Land" bietet ausgedehnte Wander- und Radwege im Flusstal der Isar oder hinauf über Berge und Almen bis zum Felsmassiv der Benediktenwand. Darüber hinaus bietet die Umgebung ein breites und abwechslungsreiches Angebot an Brauchtum, Kultur, Unterhaltung und Sport.
