"No recommendation - We were looking for a place close to the highway for our transit, so we put up with the noise of the highway. The site is located near a mixed industrial area. The site is a non-parceled meadow next to a farm (with the expected smells). However, a campsite, even if you are just passing through, should give you a certain vacation feeling. With the appearance of the site, this is out of the question. The sanitary facilities have been described as old in previous reviews, but nothing has changed. One sanitary room each for men and women with showers and toilets. The showers are difficult to regulate, sometimes with little flow. The doors are open because of the sewer smell, unobstructed view of urinals. Cleanliness was ok. The size of the space was inadequate. On one side close to a tent, on the other side the neighbor sat almost under our awning, because he himself had no place in front of his camper. Residual waste costs an extra €1.90. 2 persons 27€. This site is no longer an option for us.

"kleiner Campingplatz auf dem alles Nötigste vorhanden ist, das war es aber leide - Es gibt eine Wiese zum Campen in schöner Umgebung, die Sanitäranlagen (Klos + Waschbecken + Duschen in einem Raum) sind allerdings mehr als veraltet und werden nur sporadisch geputzt. Leider haben nicht nur wir, sondern auch andere sich nicht wirklich willkommen gefühlt, da man durchgehend von der Betreiberin kontrolliert, beobachtet und kommentiert wurde. Das Umparken unseres Autos um 90°(damit wir den Kofferraum öffnen konnten) wurde nicht erlaubt, obwohl es nicht mehr Platz benötigt hätte. Begründung war das "Bild", welches dadurch nicht mehr gewährt werden würde, doch beim Betreten der Sanitäranlagen war dies mehr als fraglich. Neben den selten geputzten und dadurch oft dreckigen Klos, war auch der Gestank auf den Klos nach menschlichen Exkrementen oft unerträglich. Durch den angrenzenden Pferde+Kuhstall lagen hier auch viele tote Insekten auf den Ablagebänken. Der Geruch der Ställe war zwar nicht auf dem Campingplatz, aber dafür im dunklen Abspülraum oft zu riechen. Eine Modernisierung wäre hier empfehlenswert. Auch die Rezeption hat sehr stark muffig gerochen. Die Türen zu den Sanitäreinrichtungen waren immer offen, weswegen Privatsphäre fehl am Platz ist. Bei den Männern konnte man beim Vorbeilaufen direkt auf die Pissoirs schauen, dort gab es zusätzlich nur zwei Toiletten, weswegen man bei den Männern oft Anstehen musste. Generell war zwar alles nötige da, aber wirklich wohl gefühlt haben wir uns leider nicht und ein Urlaubsgefühl kam auch nicht auf. Wer einen Campingplatz ohne besondere Ansprüche sucht ist hier vielleicht richtig, obwohl wir keine hohen Ansprüche hatten, waren wir allerdings froh als wir auf den nächsten Campingplatz weiterreisen konnten. Mit ein bisschen Freundlichkeit hätte man die Umstände vielleicht kompensieren können.

"Nice campsite to pass through - The operators were very friendly, it was also very quiet and idyllic. I would recommend the campsite for transit. The sanitary facilities are very clean, but very old.

"We were satisfied - The place is suitable as an overnight stay, it does not meet high standards. The sanitary facilities were clean but very old. You shouldn't be bothered by the country air. We would not spend a longer vacation there.

"Beautiful somewhat old-fashioned but loving camping - The location near the highway takes some getting used to - otherwise a nice little site with very nice operators and a small selection of home-made bacon and cheese. Pitches partly with shade.

The camping ground can be easily reached and is located in …a peaceful area. Auhof Camping with its accompanied farm is led by the family. There are also riding facilities including a riding hall. The opportunity of riding and riding lessons for beginners and advanced people (the daughter of the owner of the camp site will teach you) are offered as well as riding therapy. A new-built shopping-paradise with catering trade, disco and entertainment in the evening is only 300m away. Riding facilities and riding hall, gas canisters are sold at the camp site, holiday at a farm Ski-bus (free of charge) to the Brandnertal stops only 300m away; cross-country ski run next to the camp site; riding, riding lessons for beginners and advanced people, riding therapy; roller-skating path next to the camp site, roller-skating course 1km away
